INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
An app is configured to continuously execute even while a display unit display is stopped in an information processing device. A control unit executes app execution control, and display control of the display unit determines whether an app being executed in normal operation mode is a fake sleep mode applicable app or a fake sleep mode non-applicable app. In the case of the fake sleep mode applicable app, transition is made to a fake sleep mode in which display of an app execution screen is stopped or changed to power-saving display in response to a defined mode transition condition, and the app is continuously executed. In the case of the fake sleep mode non-applicable app, transition is made to a sleep mode in which the display of the app execution screen is stopped and the execution of the app is also stopped in response to a mode transition condition.
Devices, methods, and graphical user interfaces for providing notifications and application information
A computer system displays a plurality of notifications. When the computer system has a first notification mode enabled, the computer system displays a representation of the plurality of notifications in a first configuration in a first region. When the computer system has a second notification mode enabled, the computer system displays the representation in a second configuration in a second region smaller than the first region. The computer system detects a first user input on the representation, and in response, if the first user input meets first criteria and the representation is displayed with the first configuration, the computer system scrolls notifications in the first region in accordance with the first user input. If the first user input meets the first criteria and the representation is displayed with the second configuration, the computer system scrolls the notifications in the in a third region, in accordance with the first user input.
Device, Method, and Graphical User Interface for Updating a Background for Home and Wake Screen User Interfaces
A method includes: while displaying a wake screen with a first media item as a background and with foreground objects displayed over the first media item, detecting first user input directed to the wake screen user interface; in response to detecting the first user input, ceasing display of the foreground objects; detecting a second user input that corresponds to a request to navigate through media items in a media gallery; in response to detecting the second user input, replacing display of the first media item with display of a second media item from the media gallery; detecting a third input; and, in response to detecting the third user input, redisplaying the foreground objects on the display device over the second media item that is different from the first media item.
Method for performing biometric feature authentication when multiple application interfaces are simultaneously displayed
A display method includes simultaneously running a locked first application and a locked second application on the electronic device; first displaying a first authentication interface and a second authentication interface, where the first authentication interface and the second authentication interface are simultaneously displayed; obtaining first biometric authentication information of a user by using a system authentication service by obtaining fingerprint information of the user; and displaying a first application interface in response to successful authentication on the first biometric authentication information, where the first application interface includes content displayed by the first application after authentication on the first biometric authentication information succeeds.
Vehicular control system that limits driver distractions while the vehicle is moving
A vehicular control system includes an electronic control unit (ECU) disposed at a vehicle. The ECU includes electronic circuitry and associated software. The electronic circuitry of the ECU is operable to receive transmissions and to transmit signals. The vehicular control system, responsive to receiving at the ECU at least one transmission indicative of one or more mobile devices at an interior cabin of the vehicle, determines location of the one or more mobile devices at the interior cabin of the vehicle. Responsive to determination that a determined mobile device is located at a driver seat region of the interior cabin of the vehicle, and responsive to determination that the vehicle is moving at a speed above a threshold speed, the vehicular control system transmits a blocking signal to at least partially disable operation of the determined mobile device located at the driver seat region of the interior cabin.
System and method for disabling texting while driving
A software application that implements a system and method for preventing texting by a mobile telephone being transported in a vehicle moving at a speed greater than a predetermined speed. Captured or prevented texts are stored until the vehicle has reduced its speed appropriately or stopped altogether at which point captured text are published. Analytic data specific to a safe driving mode, including start, and, duration, and route data may be published and a safe driving score calculated.
