System and method for responding to customer calls
A computer-based system and method for responding to customer calls. The method includes automatically determining whether at least one incoming call meets existing customer criteria and further automatically determining a market segment of the at least one incoming call. The market segment may indicate whether a specific customer prefers: (i) no voice or face-to-face interaction with a representative; (ii) a face-to-face interaction with a representative; and/or (iii) a voice only interaction with a representative. The method further includes automatically routing the at least one incoming call based upon the determined market segment to one of: (1) an automated voice prompt; (2) a gaming system having two-way video capability; or (3) a person-to-person voice call system to facilitate answering incoming calls in a customer-friendly or customer preferred manner.
Techniques for behavioral pairing in a contact center system
Techniques for behavioral pairing in a contact center system are disclosed. In one particular embodiment, the techniques may be realized as a method for pairing in a contact center including ordering one or more contacts, ordering one or more agents, comparing a first difference in ordering between a first contact and a first agent in a first pair with a second difference in ordering between a second contact and a second agent in a second pair, and selecting the first pair or the second pair for connection based on the comparing, wherein the first contact and the second contact are different or the first agent and the second agent are different.
CALL MAPPING SYSTEMS AND METHODS USING VARIANCE ALGORITHM (VA) AND/OR DISTRIBUTION COMPENSATION
Method, system and program product, comprising obtaining agent performance data; ranking, agents based the agent performance data; dividing agents into agent performance ranges; partitioning callers based on criteria into a set of partitions; determining for each partition an outcome value for a first agent performance range and a second agent performance range; calculating for the partitions a respective outcome value difference indicator based on the outcome value for the first agent performance range and the outcome value for the second agent performance range for the partition; matching a respective agent to a respective caller in one of the partitions, based on the outcome value difference indicators for the partitions.
System and method for utilizing SMS functionality to schedule follow-up
A method and system facilitate scheduling of a response to a text directed to a landline by maintaining a registration of a handler system with a text hub, wherein the text hub intercepts text messages forwarded through a mobile carrier to multiple dedicated landlines. A message router of the registered handler system identifies the destination landline and routes the text message to a call center server system based on the identified destination landline. The method additionally includes processing the text message at the call center server utilizing a text processor. The text processor identifies a text sender, schedules a follow-up communication at a follow-up time, and queues the text message and scheduled follow-up.
System and method for improving contact center operations by optimizing user connections
A system that greatly improves contact center operations by converting inbound calls from communicating devices to outbound calls to the communicating devices. The system can include a call response agent that receives the inbound call from the communicating device, a speech-enabled automated agent that that interacts with the communicating device to receive an audio signal, a classifier that analyzes the audio signal and determines a caller request based on the audio signal, and a request package generator that creates an unallocated request package based on the caller request. The request package generator can create an unallocated request package menu, including the unallocated request package, and send the unallocated request package menu to a plurality of agent workstations.
Techniques for benchmarking pairing strategies in a contact center system
Techniques for benchmarking pairing strategies in a contact center system are disclosed. In one embodiment, the techniques may be realized as a method for benchmarking pairing strategies in a contact center system comprising: determining for each contact of a plurality of contacts, an associated plurality of historical contact assignments; determining, for each contact, an associated outcome value; partitioning, for each contact, the associated plurality of historical assignments into a first associated subset assigned using a first pairing strategy and a second associated subset assigned using a second pairing strategy; determining, for each contact, a first portion of the associated outcome value attributable to the first associated subset and a second portion of the associated outcome value attributable to the second associated subset; outputting a difference in performance between the first and second pairing strategies according to the first and second associated portions of the associated outcome value for each contact.
MANAGING A PLURALITY OF TOPICS IN A USER INTERACTION THROUGH A PLURALITY OF AGENTS IN A CONTACT CENTER
A computer-implemented process includes receiving an incoming contact at a contact center from a user; identifying a plurality of different portions of the incoming contact, each of a plurality of portions associated with a respective topic; and for each of the different portions, routing that different portion to a respective agent of the contact center based on its associated respective topic. Furthermore, the process includes receiving a respective response from one or more of the respective agents, the respective response pertaining to the different portion routed to that agent; combining the respective response from the one or more of the respective agents to form a first composite response; and forwarding the first composite response to the user.
Call traffic data monitoring and management
One example method of operation may include determining a call received from a calling party and intended for a subscriber device has an elevated likelihood of being a scam call, determining a percentage of calls over a current period of time being filtered as scam calls by a carrier server, when the percentage of calls being filtered as scam calls during the current period of time is above a call threshold percentage, retrieving call history information associated with a subscriber profile of the subscriber device, identifying one or more call patterns from the call history information of the subscriber profile corresponding to the received call, and determining whether to permit the received call based on the identified one or more call patterns.
Configuration for transitioning a communication from an automated system to a simulated live customer agent
A configuration is implemented to establish, with a processor, a customer care system based on a first human-spoken language. Further, the configuration receives, at an automated system, a request from a user through a dedicated communication channel for a service, the request being in a second human-spoken language. Moreover, the configuration determines, with the processor, an identity of the second human-spoken language based on the dedicated communication channel. The configuration also determines, with the processor, that the automated system is unable to fulfill the request. Additionally, the configuration transitions, with the processor, the request from the automated system to a simulated live agent engine that generates a simulated live agent session. The simulated live agent engine sends the request to a machine interpreter that translates the request into the first human-spoken language.
Feedback based communication router
An inbound communication is received by a contact center. For example, the inbound communication may be a text-based communication. The inbound communication is classified based on feedback from one or more prior inbound communications. For example, the feedback may be based on whether a previous communication was transferred, was dropped, based on feedback provided by a contact center agent, based on feedback provided by a user, and/or the like. In response to classifying the first inbound communication, the inbound communication is routed differently in the contact center. For example, the inbound communication is routed to a different contact center queue based on the feedback of the previous communication.
