TECHNIQUES FOR BEHAVIORAL PAIRING IN A CONTACT CENTER SYSTEM
Techniques for behavioral pairing in a contact center system are disclosed. In one particular embodiment, the techniques may be realized as a method for pairing in a contact center including ordering one or more contacts, ordering one or more agents, comparing a first difference in ordering between a first contact and a first agent in a first pair with a second difference in ordering between a second contact and a second agent in a second pair, and selecting the first pair or the second pair for connection based on the comparing, wherein the first contact and the second contact are different or the first agent and the second agent are different.
Optimizing next step action based on agent availability for effective sales and marketing engagement
A system and method for establishing a communication with a customer by an agent, via one or more communication modes includes an agent computer and a second computer. The agent computer receives a batch notification identifying a batch of one or more customer records in the agent computer, for communication in the near future, wherein the one or more customer records is associated with one or more customers. The second computer provides the batch notification enabling the agent computer to identify the batch of one or more customer records. The system determines a next step action based on a prediction of availability of the agent to execute a communication attempt to communicate with the customer using a communication mode that requires the attendance of the agent.
Systems and methods for location based call routing
Disclosed herein are a system, method, and computer-readable medium with instructions for recommending a service provider based on a user's approximate current location. The service provider may be recommended for a service that is verified under a user's insurance policy and is also within proximity to the user's approximate current location. The user's approximate current location may be determined by location-based technology. The entity that receives and/or recommends the service provider may initiate a request for the service from the service provider. Further embodiments are related to routing a call to provide information to the user that is responsive to the user's location-relevant request. For example, systems, such as an automotive telematics system, may request information and be routed to the appropriate division of a user's insurance provider such that the automotive telematics system can provide services to the user that are user-specific (e.g., covered by the user's insurance policy).
Call routing methods and systems
Methods and systems for routing calls based on a minimum expected delay, classification, and priority of the call are provided. In some embodiments, when a call is received, the call is classified and prioritized within the classification. A minimum expected delay time is determined. Based on the minimum expected delay time, the classification, and the prioritization, the call is routed to a representative with instructions on how the call should be treated.
System and method for managing routing of customer calls to agents
Upon receiving an inbound call, a call management system retrieves from a customer database enterprise customer data associated with an identified customer. The customer database tracks prospects, leads, new business and purchasers of an enterprise. Enterprise customer data may include customer event data, activity event data and attributions data. The system retrieves customer demographic data associated with the identified customer. A group of agents is selected from a plurality of groups of agents based on retrieved enterprise customer data. A predictive model determines a value prediction signal for the identified customer, then classifies the identified customer into a first value group or a second value group. The system routes a customer call classified in the first value group to a first queue position, and routes a customer call classified in the second value group to a second queue position, for connection to an agent from the selected group of agents.
System and method for managing customer call-backs
A system herein provides automated call-back of customers who have terminated an inbound call by exercising a call-back option of an interactive voice response unit or by abandoning the inbound call, using predictive modeling of caller value to prioritize call-backs. The call management system monitors the inbound customer call and detects any termination of the customer call. A call-back module opens a call-back record for the terminated customer call and associates that call-back record with an identified customer. The call-back module retrieves customer demographic data and other data associated with the identified customer. A predictive module determines a value prediction signal for the identified customer by modeling purchase and lapse behaviors and classifies each identified customer for either priority call-back or subordinate call-back treatment. Priority call-back classification may result in assignment to a priority call-back queue, assignment to a priority call-back queue position, or call-back by a selected agent.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR IDENTIFICATION AND OPTIMIZATION OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE CALLS
The present invention relates to communications methods and apparatus for determining whether a received call originated from an artificial intelligence system and the call handling procedures to be used on the received call based on whether or not the call was determined to have been originated from an artificial intelligence system. An exemplary method embodiment includes the steps of: receiving a first call; determining whether said first call originated from an artificial intelligence system; and when said first call is determined to have originated from an artificial intelligence system performing one or more artificial intelligence call handling operations.
Web widget that facilitates telephone calls with customer-support agents and other customer-support services
We disclose a system that provides customer-support services to a user of a website through a web widget. When the user accesses a web page containing the web widget, a call is automatically made from the web widget to a customer-support system. In response to the call, the system obtains status information from the customer-support system indicating whether customer-support agents are available to take telephone phone calls. If the status information indicates customer-support agents are available to take telephone calls, the web widget provides a call-related interface to the user, wherein the call-related interface is configured to facilitate a telephone call with a customer-support agent. If the status information indicates customer-support agents are not available to take telephone calls, the web widget provides a non-call-related interface to the user, wherein the non-call-related interface is configured to facilitate an alternative channel of customer support that does not involve a telephone call.
Techniques for benchmarking pairing strategies in a contact center system
Techniques for benchmarking pairing strategies in a contact center system are disclosed. In one embodiment, the techniques may be realized as a method for benchmarking pairing strategies in a contact center system comprising: determining for each contact of a plurality of contacts, an associated plurality of historical contact assignments; determining, for each contact, an associated outcome value; partitioning, for each contact, the associated plurality of historical assignments into a first associated subset assigned using a first pairing strategy and a second associated subset assigned using a second pairing strategy; determining, for each contact, a first portion of the associated outcome value attributable to the first associated subset and a second portion of the associated outcome value attributable to the second associated subset; outputting a difference in performance between the first and second pairing strategies according to the first and second associated portions of the associated outcome value for each contact.
IMMEDIATE CALL RECONNECTION TO A USER OF A DISCONNECTED CLIENT SYSTEM
The technology disclosed herein enables a call to be immediately reconnected to the same agent of a contact center after the agent has been disconnected while the caller remains connected to the contact center. A method provides determining that a first agent system, operated by a first agent of the contact center, has been disconnected from a communication session between the first agent system and a first caller system, operated by a first caller, due to a non-recoverable error. The first caller system remains connected to the contact center. The method further provides generating identification information that identifies the communication session and generating a link to join the communication session that includes the identification information. The method also provides transferring the link to a second agent system operated by the first agent. The second agent system is connected to the communication session when the second agent system follows the link.
