Methods and systems for improving a photography business are disclosed, comprising, in an embodiment, taking a photograph of a coded component together with a series of photographs for the client. The coded component comprises human-readable information and is provided to the client for access to the photographs. The coded component also comprises machine-readable information, enabling a server to sort the photographs to the corresponding jobs without operator intervention. The coded component can also comprise a fillable option field to identify that the photographs associated with the coded component are to be specially treated according to a desired selection.

The system and method further provide an online photosharing service capable of hosting the entity-specific photo-sharing websites for each of the entities, such that when the image capture devices connect to photo-sharing service, the photo-sharing service uses the entity ID received from the image capture devices to automatically associate the image with the photo-sharing websites of the identified entity.
Linked Capture Session for Automatic Image Sharing
A computing device initiates a linked capture session to enable automatic image sharing by multiple users and devices. The linked capture session is a group of devices that automatically share captured images during the linked capture session. The linked capture session may be initiated based on a location, a group of people, and/or a time duration. The images captured by devices that are connected in the linked capture session are automatically communicated to a remote storage system that allows all users to access the images through devices connected to the linked capture session.
Method for managing privacy of digital images
A captured digital image is stored in memory together with metadata derived from a location signal only if the location metadata is determined not to be within one or more predefined exclusion zones. A GPS receiver module can be implemented to obtain the location signal.

The server coordinates the devices in the group, consolidating the captured images from all the devices and presenting them to an event hoster for their approval so that they can be redisplayed to all participants at the event through a display system, which may include one or more of the capture devices.
