Image processing device and medium storing image processing program
An information interchange unit, a storage unit, and a display controller are configured such that, after a image selection unit selects a first image and a second image, the information interchange unit interchanges, automatically, first image information of the first image with second image information of the second image, or interchanges, automatically, first position information of the first image with second position information of the second image, the storage unit stores and correlates the first image information and the second position information, and stores and correlates the second image information and the first position information, and the display controller controls, automatically, a display to display the one image based on the first image information and the second position information, and the another image based on the second image information and the first position information.
Method and system for the flexible merging of logical cells and printing
Methods and systems for the imposition of a print job. A grid composed of a 2D matrix of a group of logical cells can be graphically displayed in a graphical user interface. Each logical cell can be defined by a contiguous rectangular region made up cells of equal sized cells and wherein the grid directs the imposition of a print job. Graphical elements are also displayed in the graphical user interface, which when selected by a user allows for the merging of the logical cells across rows and columns of the grid for the imposition of the print job.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes: a document reading unit 110 allowing input of image data generated from a read document, a paper feed unit 140 containing recording paper, an image forming unit 120 forming an image on the recording paper based on the image data, and a touch-panel display 132 displaying a preview image representing a state of image formation. The touch-panel display displays a preview image in a designated orientation for a document of a prescribed size, and displays a preview image in accordance with size and orientation of recording paper fed from the paper feed unit, for a document not of the prescribed size. Thus, for documents of a prescribed size, preview images in a prescribed orientation can be displayed regardless of the direction of arrangement of the recording paper, and easier confirmation of expected finish of the formed image becomes possible.
PRINT-IMAGE GENERATION DEVICE, PRINT-IMAGE GENERATION METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A print-image generation device comprising: a display; and a processor that controls the display to display a print-image generation screen and a plurality of part images in the print-image generation screen, and performs alignment of at least one of the plurality of part images to generate a print image composed of the plurality of part images, wherein the processor, when the alignment is performed in a state in which two or more part images are selected from among the plurality of part images in the print-image generation screen, performs first alignment of the two or more part images on the basis of a mutual positional relationship between the two or more part images, determines whether or not there exists an area in which the two or more part images overlap each other as the result of the alignment, and when it is determined that there exists an area in which the two or more part images at least partially overlap each other, notifies a user that the overlapped area exists, and when the user is notified that the overlapped area exists, moves at least one of the part images that at least partially overlap each other in the overlapped area so as to eliminate the overlapped area, or changes a size of at least one of the part images that at least partially overlap each other in the overlapped area to a size that eliminates the overlapped area, on the basis of operation by the user.
Cropping image within image preview
A cropping electronic display image is provided in response to selection of an image crop menu option. The cropping electronic display image includes a geometric shape superimposed on the input image. Operation of the user input component changing position of at least one side of the geometric shape within the cropping electronic display image is detected to identify a selected cropped image area. Portions of the input image outside the selected cropped image area are removed to produce a cropped image, in response to completing the process of changing position of at least one side of the geometric shape. The cropped image and the cropped image area are enlarged to fit within the cropping electronic display image.
Proactive creation of personalized products
A method for proactively creating an image product includes capturing an image of an object in a first environment by a device, storing a library of personalized products each characterized by a product type, automatically recognizing the object in the image as having a product type associated with the library of personalized products, automatically creating a design for the personalized product of the product type using personalized content, automatically displaying the design of the personalized product of the product type incorporating the selected photo in the first environment on the device, and manufacturing a physical product based on the design of the personalized product.
Document camera device and cutout assistance method
A document camera device includes a processor that executes a procedure. The procedure includes: performing control so as to display, in cutout processing that cuts out and saves, from an image imaging a subject, an image corresponding to an inside of a region designated for the subject, an image specifying a region associated with identification information of a subject targeted by the current cutout processing on the subject targeted by the current cutout processing, based on history information associated with identification information of the subject and with the region in cutout processing that was executed in the past; and performing processing that, when a region specified by an image specifying the region has been selected, sets an image cut out and saved from inside the selected region as an image that has been cut out by the current cutout processing.
DISPLAY SYSTEM, CONTROL DEVICE, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
A display system includes a display apparatus, at least one recording medium container, and a display controller. The display apparatus includes a display that displays an image. The display apparatus enables a user to see an object by using the display apparatus. The object is actually located on a line extending from a line of sight of the user. The at least one recording medium container accommodates a recording medium on which an image is to be formed. The display controller displays, on the display, information regarding an intended image that is an image to be formed on the recording medium to be placed in the recording medium container. The display controller displays the information when the user looks at the recording medium container by using the display apparatus.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD FOR PROCESSING PLURALITY OF PARTIAL IMAGES AND DETERMINING LAYOUT
In accordance with an embodiment, an image processing apparatus comprises an image data acquiring section configured to acquire image data of an image; a partial image acquiring section configured to acquire a plurality of partial images from each of a plurality of areas contained within the image on a basis of the image data acquired by the image data acquiring section; and a layout determination section configured to determine a layout by arranging a plurality of the partial images acquired by the partial image acquiring section.
Proactive creation of photo products
A method for proactively creating a photobook includes identifying a group of images by a computer system and automatically creating a design for a photobook by the computer system without receiving a user's request for designing a photobook if the number of images in the group is determined to be within a predetermined range. Pages of the photobook incorporate a plurality of images in the group. The method further includes presenting the design of the photobook to a user for preview and receiving an order from the user for a physical manifestation of the photobook based on the design.
