The fob having a front housing and a rear housing, wherein the front housing is configured to rotate about the rear housing, wherein the rear housing includes a first pocket and a second pocket. The lanyard having a first end and a second end, wherein the first pocket is configured to receive the first end and the second pocket is configured to receive the second end. The first end is permanently fixed within the first pocket and second end is configured to removably slide within the second pocket such that the lanyard fob is operable between an open position and closed position.
