IMAGE OBFUSCATION
A computer-implemented method, system and computer program is disclosed. The method may comprise providing an image comprising a plurality of pixels, identifying at least one portion of the image to be obfuscated, modifying pixels of the at least one image portion using a key for producing an updated image in which the at least one image portion is obfuscated, providing the key, or a link to the key, in an access profile for the identified at least one image portion and allocating permissions to one or more users for enabling them to view the at least one image portion, by use of the key, when viewing the updated image.
ENHANCING GRAPH VISUALIZATION WITH SUPPLEMENTAL DATA
A method and system for communicating supplemental data for nodes of a graph. A visual representation of the graph is divided into portions of a computer screen. Each portion is a rectangle corresponding to a respective node of the graph. Dividing the visual representation of the graph into portions includes determining a number of pixels in rectangles displayed on the computer screen along with the graph. Supplemental data for each respective node, together with an offset distance between a reference point of each respective node and a reference point of the supplemental data for each respective node, is encoded steganographically. Fixed length attributes related to the respective node are prioritized. The attributes are encoded steganographically into the rectangle corresponding to the respective node, starting with a highest priority attribute of the fixed length attributes and continuing sequentially according to a priority of the remaining attributes of the fixed length attributes.
TRUSTED INDICATORS TO SECURE VISUAL OUTPUTS
An example display device for securing graphics outputs includes: a checker to check whether a secure output marker is located in a pre-determined position in graphical information of a digital image; a verifier to verify whether first data in the secure output marker matches actual data in a trusted output area of the digital image; and autonomous indicator control logic to activate a hardware-based trusted output indicator when the first data matches the actual data, the autonomous indicator control logic not accessible by computing applications executing on a system in communication with the display device.
Encoding signals in color designs for physical objects
The present disclosure relates generally to encoding signals for spot colors. In one implementation a substitute spot color+CMY tint is selected to replace an original spot color. The CMY tint can be transformed to carry an encoded signal. Of course, other features, combinations and technology are described herein.
Trusted indicators to secure visual outputs
An example apparatus includes: memory; instructions in the apparatus; and at least one processor to execute the instructions to: check for proof of trust information in one or more pre-determined positions in a trusted digital image, the proof of trust information including a secure output marker, the secure output marker indicative of information corresponding to a trusted output area of the trusted digital image; decrypt the secure output marker using one or more security keys from a trusted execution environment (TEE), the TEE isolated from a computing application; and enable activation of a trusted output indicator in response to a match between first data corresponding to the secure output marker and second data corresponding to the trusted output area of the trusted digital image.
IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
Certainty of detecting a watermark embedded in a color image is increased. Image data acquisition means of an image processing device acquires image data. Histogram generation means generates, based on pixel values of an image indicated by the image data acquired by the image data acquisition means, a histogram for each region in the image. Region selection means selects tom the image a region having a sparse color distribution in the histogram generated by the histogram generation means. Image processing means embeds a watermark in the region selected by the region selection means.
Trusted indicators to secure visual outputs
Providing secure graphics outputs by performing at least the following: receive secure output data corresponding to a digital image, obtain one or more security keys, create a secure output marker for the secure output data, wherein the secure output marker comprises location information corresponding to a trusted output area of the digital image and data information that represents data content found within the trusted output area of the digital image, encrypt the secure output marker using the one or more security keys, embed the secure output marker within the graphics image to create a trusted graphics image; and render the trusted graphics image for exposure onto the display device.
IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
Certainty of detecting watermarks embedded in a color image is increased. Image date acquisition means of an image processing device acquires image data on a color image having a plurality of color channels. Numerical value acquisition means acquires respective numerical values in the plurality of color channels contained in a pixel value of the color image based on the image data acquired by the image data acquisition means. Image processing means embed a watermark in each of the plurality of color channels by changing the numerical value acquired by the numerical value acquisition means.
Linking secure and non-secure digital imaging using digital imagers for production of lottery tickets or other documents
A method and system include digitally imaging a secure portion and a non-secure portion of scratch-off coating protected gaming documents of at least one game, the gaming documents including variable indicia, the gaming documents and the at least one game being associated with at least one overall print run, each print run including (i) a plurality of non-winning gaming documents and (ii) a plurality of winning gaming documents determined by revealing secure variable indicia according to predetermined game programming, and wherein at least the secure portion of digital imaging is hidden under the scratch-off coating. The secure portion can be encrypted into ciphertext with the non-secure portion remaining plaintext or cleartext. This enables digital imaging on demand across a local or distributed network of both secure and non-secure areas of instant lottery tickets or other documents having scratch-off coatings.
Communication system, server device, client device, and non-transitory computer readable medium
A communication system includes a server device and a client device. The server device includes an encoding unit that encodes information about characters contained in a first image to generate an encoded image, a generation unit that generates a second image in which the generated encoded image is embedded at a position specified from a position of the characters on the first image in place of the characters, and a transmission unit that transmits the second image to the client device in response to a request for the first image from the client device. The client device includes an extraction unit that extracts the encoded image from the received second image, a decoding unit that decodes the extracted encoded image, and a replacement unit that replaces the encoded image on the second image with characters specified from decoded information to generate the first image.
