A system includes plural output units that output received document data, a storage unit that stores attribute information of a recipient who is to output the document data, a specifying unit that specifies an output unit from among the plural output units by using the attribute information of the recipient; and a transmitting unit that transmits the document data to the output unit specified by the specifying unit.

Embodiment of systems and methods for the sending, delivery or receiving of faxes are disclosed herein. In particular, certain embodiments include a fax connector that may be deployed at users' sites, and a fax registration system that may be deployed remotely from these users' site. The fax connector can be accessed at a user's site over a computer based network in order to perform functions associated with faxing, including sending, receiving and obtaining status on faxes. The fax connector deployed at a sending user's site communicates with the fax registration system to obtain destination data associated with a recipient user's fax connector and transmits the fax to the destination fax connector over the computer based network based on the destination data obtained from the registration system. The fax can then be presented to the recipient at the recipient user's site.

An image processing device including a reception unit, an acquisition unit, an image reading unit, and a transmission unit. The reception unit receives a processing identifier associated with image reading processing. The acquisition unit acquires processing information associated with the processing identifier, the processing information including at least information regarding a storing location. The image reading unit reads an image on the basis of the processing information. The transmission unit transmits data of the read image to the storing location according to the processing information.

The computer instructions may be further executable to receive a facsimile document at the fax server, wherein the facsimile document comprises one of a document to be transmitted or a received fax. The computer instructions may be further executable to identify a tenant associated with the document based on an identifier. Further, the computer instructions may be executable to store the document in the database, wherein the document is associated with the tenant in the database.
