A media system for generating a user profile by analyzing force input to a remote controller and providing a personalized service according to the generated user profile and a method for providing the personalized service in the same are disclosed. A computer processing device (server) in the media system comprises an information collection unit configured to collect information about a force input applied to a remote controller during a predetermined period of time and a profiling unit configured to generate at least one user profile according to the collected information. Here, the force input means an input applied to the remote controller with higher pressure or wider area than pressure or an area of a normal input.

Information Processing Apparatus, Control Method, Information Processing Terminal, And Information Processing Method

The present technology relates to an information processing apparatus, a control method, an information processing terminal, and an information processing method capable of detecting a voice to be recognized by using a microphone in accordance with a user's intention.

An information processing apparatus according to one aspect of the present technology, a main body microphone that is a microphone provided in a housing, and controls which of the main body microphone or a terminal microphone that is a microphone provided in an information processing terminal used for a user's operation is to be used to detect a voice to be recognized, on the basis of a state of the user's operation on the information processing terminal. The present technology can be applied to a TV having a microphone.

INFORMATION RECOMMEND SYSTEM, INFORMATION RECOMMEND METHOD AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM

An information recommend system includes an information recommend device. The information recommend device is configured to store a operation model and a recommendation model. The operation model is composed of a plurality of operation mode data, and the recommendation model is composed of detailed data of a plurality of multimedia data. The information recommend device is further configured to receive a plurality of real-time viewing data, determine a real-time operation mode according to the real-time viewing data and the operation model, and determine recommending multimedia data and a time point for recommending form the detailed data of the multimedia data according to the real-time operation mode and the recommendation model.

APPARATUS, METHOD AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM FOR SENDING AN EMERGENCY MESSAGE

The present disclosure relates to a device, method and computer readable medium for sending an emergency message. A device for sending an emergency message through an apparatus installed with at least one communication application, the device comprises: a memory having instructions stored therein; a processor configured to execute the instructions stored on the memory so that the processor performs the following operations: receiving an emergency signal from a user; transmitting an emergency message to the at least one communication application in response to the received emergency signal; and sending, through the at least one communication application, the emergency message to contacts of the at least one communication application.

Method and video device for accessing information

A method and video device are disclosed for accessing information. In an embodiment of the present invention, part of data included in a title, being played, read from a storage medium or extracted from a broadcast signal is extracted and sent to a server over a network, and information corresponding to the part of the data (i.e., information related to the data and complete data of the data) is received from the server and played. Rather than the part of the data, information related to a position of the data, (e.g. a time point at which the playing of the data starts within the title or a radial position or a physical address at which the data is located in the storage medium) may be sent. The data may be data that forms audio, a frame-shaped video clip or a frame-shaped picture included in the title.

A system comprising a remote video provider and a device; the device, capable of processing data and instructions executable by a processor, when executing the instructions, performs the steps of: streaming, from the remote video provider and over a communications network, a video; receiving, during a playing of the video, a request for information; pausing the playing of the video in response to the request for information; displaying information responsive to the request for information; and resuming, following a termination of the displaying of information, the playing of the video at a location in the video that (i) precedes a location at which the video was paused, and (ii) is responsive to a beginning of a video segment.

REMOTE CONTROLLER AND SELECTIVE KEY ILLUMINATION
20170229008 · 2017-08-10 ·

According to one configuration, a remote controller device wirelessly controls a remote media system. The remote controller device includes multiple selectable control buttons, multiple optical sources, and controller hardware. Each optical source individually back-illuminates a respective selectable control button of the multiple selectable buttons. The controller hardware selectively activates different groupings of the multiple optical sources depending upon a current operational mode of the remote media system. For example, a respective user of the remote controller device selects a particular button of the remote controller device corresponding to the first operational mode. The remote controller device, in turn, transmits a wireless signal to the remote media system to control the remote media system to the first operational mode. Rather than illuminating all buttons, the remote controller device then back-illuminates only a relevant group of multiple selectable control buttons applicable to the first operational mode.

Broadcast receiving system

A broadcast receiving apparatus includes: a first receiving unit receiving broadcast data for a first transmission method; a second receiving unit receiving broadcast data for a second transmission method; a first decoding unit decoding the broadcast data received by the first receiving unit; a second decoding unit decoding the broadcast data received by the second receiving unit; a video output unit outputting video, the video being generated based on data decoded by the first or second decoding unit; an operation input unit receiving control information from a remote controller; and a control unit controlling the units based on the control information received by the operation input unit. The remote controller includes a button to output control information for switching between a display state and a non-display state of service, the service being linked with a broadcasting program.
