RADIO STATION PROVIDER MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A method may include receiving radio station data associated with multiple radio stations from one or more radio station providers and filtering the radio stations based at least in part on playback availability. Playback availability may include a broadcast right associated with the one or more radio station providers. The method may also include removing duplicate radio stations and supplying a searchable radio station directory to a platform or a client device.
System and method for audio control of concurrently displayed video programs
A system and method for enabling the selection of audio associated with one or more concurrently displayed video programs to be controlled. This system and method enable a user to select one or more concurrently displayed video programs and consequently control the routing and volume of the audio associated with one or all of the concurrently displayed video programs. The concurrently viewed videos can be presented in a picture-in-picture format.
HIGH RESOLUTION INSPECTION DEVICE FOR CASTING DEFECTS USING IR IMAGING
A nondestructive system and method for high resolution thermal imaging in metal casting applications is provided to detect defects and starts with the article under test being subjected to a thermal gradient, followed by infrared images taken thereof. The creation of the thermal gradient results in any defects reacting differently to the thermal gradient application to accentuate the defect in the infrared image. The apparatus for conducting the tests in one embodiment includes a single channel sensor, remote cable, and a laptop controller with real time image processing software. This hardware provides high resolution, real-time viewable infrared (IR) images with a variable focus distance adjustable from six inches to infinity. The apparatus enables crisp, clear imagery of various metal casting defects.
Systems and methods for multi-device interaction
Systems, devices and methods are provided for multi-device interactions. For example, a transmitting device detects a media content control command input by a user for operation of a first application client, wherein the media content control command includes media content identification; the transmitting device encodes the media content control command into an audio identifier string; and the transmitting device transmits the audio identifier string through first sound waves. A receiving device is configured to detect the first sound waves using a second application client, extract the audio identifier string from the first sound waves, decode the audio identifier string to acquire the media content control command, and operate on first media content corresponding to the media content identification included in the media content control command.
INSTRUCTION DEVICE, PROGRAM, INSTRUCTION SYSTEM, AND INSTRUCTION METHOD
An instruction device includes: a detection unit that detects a space in which the instruction device exists; a storage unit that stores association information including information indicating that the space and a target device are associated with each other; a specifying unit that specifies the target device associated with the detected space by referring to the association information; and an output unit that outputs an instruction signal corresponding to the specified target device in accordance with an operation by an operator.
PACKAGE WITH INTEGRATED INFRARED AND FLASH LEDS
Disclosed is an integrated LED package for a client device. The integrated LED package includes a flash LED chip, an IR LED chip, and an optional reflective element. The IR LED chip includes an IR LED that emits a cone of IR light, for example, to send commands to another client device such as a TV, to control the TV. The reflective element modifies the cone of IR light such that a TV positioned in front of the client device is likely to receive IR light emitted from the client device. The integrated LED package includes a common anode for both the flash LED and the IR LED. Thus, the integrated LED package may reduce its overall size in comparison to a LED package that does not include a common anode, e.g., the LED package includes a separate anode each for the flash LED and the IR LED.
Remote mode selection for a set-top box
A system includes a set-top box and a remote device. The remote device receives data representing an event from the set-top box. The remote device determines whether the event has occurred based on the data representing the event and generates a transition command to transition the set-top box from a first operating mode to a second operating mode. Further, the remote device transmits the transition command to the set-top box if the event has occurred.
DISPLAY APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A display apparatus and a control method thereof are provided. The display apparatus includes: a signal receiver configured to receive an image signal; a signal processor configured to process the received image signal; a display configured to display an image based on the processed image signal; a storage; a user input receiver configured to receive a user input; and a processor configured to display, on the display, at least one candidate profile from among a plurality of candidate profiles, each of which includes different setting information for a plurality of setting items, to select one from among the displayed at least one candidate profile according to the received user input, and to store in the storage in response to the selecting, the setting information for the plurality of setting items includes in the selected candidate profile. Accordingly, the display apparatus may simplify or automate an initial setting process.
Method, device and system for controlling cable television system
Disclosed are a method, a device and a system for controlling a cable television system. The method includes that: an intelligent mobile terminal detects whether the intelligent mobile terminal is connected to a home wireless network, and when it is detected that the intelligent mobile terminal is connected to the home wireless network, transmits a set-top box turn-on signal to a set-top box through the home wireless network; the set-top box executes a turn-on operation according to the received set-top box turn-on signal and transmits a television turn-on signal to a television. According to the disclosure, after a user of the intelligent mobile terminal gets home, the intelligent mobile terminal carried by the user automatically turns on the set-top box and the television, and the user does not need to use a remote controller of the set-top box and a remote controller of the television.
PLAYING CONTROL METHOD AND TERMINAL
A playing control method and a terminal are provided. The method includes the following. A playing control instruction carrying a device identifier of a playing device is acquired. A content input port and a power output port that are integrated in a control terminal and correspond to the device identifier are opened. Power output ports of the control terminal other than the power output port corresponding to the device identifier and a power output port coupled to a display terminal are closed, multimedia contents via the content input port corresponding to the device identifier are received, and the multimedia contents are transmitted to the display terminal for output and display.
