The present application discloses a video push method, comprising: obtaining keyword information, and filtrating electronic program information according to the keyword information to obtain a first push information; filtrating network video information according to the keyword information to obtain a second push Information; generating a push list according to the first push information and the second push information, and pushing videos according to the push list. The application also discloses a video push device and a computer-readable storage medium. The present application completes the effective filtration of video data from two different sources being of television and network, and further completes the intelligent push of the video data, and can provide users with rich and high quality video resources firstly according to the retrieved keyword information.

An embodiment may involve a server device transmitting, over a wide area network, a first playlist with a first duration to a client device. Possibly while the client device is playing out a current audio file of a first plurality of audio files in the playlist, the server device may receive an instruction from the client device and generate a second playlist. The second playlist may include references to a second plurality of audio files, where playout of the second plurality of audio files may have a duration that is less than the duration of the playout of the first plurality of audio files. The server device may transmit, over the wide area network, the second playlist to the client device. Reception of the second playlist at the client device may cause the audio player application to retrieve and play out the second plurality of audio files.

Methods for formulating a universal set of measurements or metrics that is operable across all video players, video-content types, ad (advertisement) networks, display devices, and browsers is also disclosed. Method and apparatus for generation of interactive programming. An interactive programming server embeds interactive components into a video signal. The interactive programming server receives content from a content source and interactive components from an interactive component source and uses the content and interactive components to generate an interactive Video On Demand (iVOD) interactive program. The iVOD interactive program is transmitted to a participant who views the content and interacts with the interactive components of the iVOD interactive program. The participant's responses to the content is transmitted back to the interactive programming server where the participant responses are incorporated into new content which is used to generate new iVOD interactive programming.

An example system may include a communication interface; a processor; and a non-transitory computer-readable medium having stored thereon program instructions that when executed by the processor cause the server to perform of a set of functions. Disclosed herein are methods and systems for new analytic pathways for collecting information regarding video playback by human (and automated) users. This is achieved in part by placing certain elements (Vixels) within the code of a video file prior to it being uploaded by a user who shares the video. Whenever and wherever the video is played, whether it is streamed once, downloaded and played several times thereafter, or played for a mass audience, the analytic pathway is triggered each and every time the video file is played because the elements triggering the collection of analytics exist in the video file itself. By embedding Vixels into video files at or before upload, the analytics mechanisms are triggered by the embedded Vixel regardless of how, where, when, and by whom the video is played back, forming the framework for a simpler and more accurate analytics network.

Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for real-time determination of attentiveness of an audience in a room to a speaker. A computer determines amounts of wireless activity of a computing device within the room of the audience over time during the presentation. Based in part on the amounts of wireless activity of the computing device, the computer determines and initiates display of measures of attentiveness of the audience over the time during the presentation, to display changes in the measures of attentiveness of the audience to the speaker during the presentation. In another embodiment, the computer determines amounts of attentiveness of the audience within the room over time during the presentation utilizing sensors located throughout the room.

Systems, methods, and computer-readable medium are provided for monitoring content viewership using short-range wireless communication by transmitting a short-range wireless signal, detecting a user device that responds to the transmitting, detecting content being presented by a media device, storing monitoring data that includes an indication of the user device and an indication of the content being presented, and transmitting the monitoring data to a server. Systems, methods, and computer-readable medium are also provided for receiving monitoring data from multiple monitoring devices, determining users associated with user devices that were detected, identifying content based on indications of content detected by the monitoring devices, matching the users to the content using the monitoring data, and generating a report of content viewership based on the matching.
