The operations include retrieving an augmented reality element comprising a virtual box that is in a closed state. The operations include obtaining triggers associated with the virtual box, the triggers configured to change the virtual box from the closed state to an open state. The operations include displaying the virtual box. The operations include receiving input associated with the virtual box. The operations include determining that the received input corresponds to the one or more triggers associated with the virtual box. The operations include modifying the virtual box from being displayed in the closed state to being displayed in the open state.

An MFP (Multifunction Peripheral) is a file name producing apparatus that produces a file name of an image. The MFP selects a candidate character string, which is a file name candidate and in which a head character is a space, from the character strings extracted from the image. The MFP deletes the space that is the head character of the candidate character string, or changes all the characters constituting the candidate character string to other characters. The MFP produces the character string, which is corrected by the deletion or the change, as the file name of the image. Therefore, the proper file name can be produced.

A method and apparatus for processing metadata of an image are disclosed. The metadata is associated with the image and an applet views the metadata in response to selection of the image. The metadata may include links to websites, audio files, video files, and text files, as well as image capture information including GPS location, time and date of capture, camera settings, etc. In response to selection of the image, or in response to arriving at a website pointed to by a URL in the metadata, a list of information materials associated with the image may be displayed. One or more of the information materials may be automatically activated.

Video and corresponding metadata is accessed. Events of interest within the video are identified based on the corresponding metadata, and best scenes are identified based on the identified events of interest. A video summary can be generated including one or more of the identified best scenes. The video summary can be generated using a video summary template with slots corresponding to video clips selected from among sets of candidate video clips. Best scenes can also be identified by receiving an indication of an event of interest within video from a user during the capture of the video. Metadata patterns representing activities identified within video clips can be identified within other videos, which can subsequently be associated with the identified activities.
