SLEEP APNEA TREATMENT APPARATUS AND METHOD
A sleep apnea treatment apparatus including a stimulation device that applies a stimulation to a subject, and a controller including circuitry which receives sounds produced by the subject, converts the sounds to received sound signals, obtains snoring sound information from the received sound signals, calculates an impact of snoring sound produced by the subject based on the snoring sound information, and causes the stimulation device to apply the stimulation to the subject when the impact is higher than a threshold.
EARPIECE PORTING
An earpiece includes an electro-acoustic transducer and a housing. The housing supports the electro-acoustic transducer such that the housing and the electro-acoustic transducer together define a first acoustic volume and a second acoustic volume. The electro-acoustic transducer is arranged such that a first radiating surface of the transducer radiates acoustic energy into the front acoustic volume and such that a second radiating surface of the transducer radiates acoustic energy into the second acoustic volume. A front port couples the first acoustic volume to a space outside the housing, and a rear port couples the second acoustic volume to the space outside the housing. Respective outlet ends of the front port and the rear port combine before exiting the housing via a combined exit volume and an exit port.
Transducer assembly with acoustic mass
A receiver assembly comprising a first and a second receiver housing and a spout. The second receiver housing is positioned over a first sound outlet port of the first receiver housing and the spout is positioned over a second outlet port of the second receiver housing. An acoustic duct is located between the first and second receiver housing acoustically connecting the first sound outlet port to the spout and is provided with an acoustic mass.
AMBIENT SONIC LOW-PRESSURE EQUALIZATION
A passive ambient in-ear monitor includes an interchangeable unidirectional sonic filter that allows ambient sound to pass through to the ear canal and be combined with sound generated by internal drivers. A sonic low pressure equalization device of a predetermined spatial volume links the sonic filter with the internal drivers to deliver to the user a mixture of generated and ambient sound without any substantial degradation to low frequency sound.
Loudspeaker unit
A loudspeaker unit includes a voice coil, a diaphragm, a damper, a frame supporting an outer edge of the diaphragm and an outer edge of the damper, and a duct projecting from an outer surface of the frame, with air moved by vibration of the diaphragm flowing into and out of the loudspeaker unit through the duct. The frame has an aperture that communicates with a space inside the frame. The duct, serving as a separate member, is attached to the frame so as to cover the aperture. The frame further includes a support tab that projects into the aperture. Link terminals are attached to the support tab. Before the duct is attached to the frame, lead wires extending from the voice coil are formed into a predetermined shape and are then connected to the link terminals in a space within the aperture.
In-Ear Monitor
An improved in-ear monitor that incorporates high frequency balanced armature driver tuning, both low frequency dynamic driver and balanced armature driver tuning, mid range and high range frequency balanced armature driver tuning. It also utilizes a spout that has a series of stanchions or stanchions and resonator box cavities for the simplified connection and disconnection of sound tubes and resonator boxes.
EARPHONE
An earphone includes: a housing; a dynamic driver unit provided in the housing; and a sound conduit having a length of approximately 10 mm or more, the sound conduit being configured to transmit sound output from the dynamic driver unit.
ELECTRONIC WATCH WITH BAROMETRIC VENT
An electronic watch may include a housing at least partially defining an interior cavity divided into at least a first volume and a second volume, a pressure-sensing component positioned within the first volume, a speaker positioned within the first volume, a processor positioned within the second volume, a battery positioned within the second volume, and a barometric vent that allows air pressure equalization between the first volume and an external environment.
Wearable audio device with tri-port acoustic cavity
Various aspects include ported wearable audio devices. In certain implementations, a wearable audio device includes: a first cavity; a second cavity; a third cavity; a driver disposed between the first cavity and the second cavity, the driver configured to provide an acoustic output; a first mass and/or resistive port connecting the second cavity and the third cavity; and a second mass and/or resistive port connected to the third cavity.
Sound transducer structure of electronic device
The present invention provides a sound transducer structure of electronic device relating to the technical field of acoustics. The sound transducer structure includes a housing having an accommodating cavity, a sound generator received in the accommodating cavity, and a sound outlet disposed in the housing. A sound guiding groove communicates between the sound generator and the sound outlet, so that a sound generated at the sound generator is conducted along the sound guiding groove and is transmitted out of the housing from the sound outlet. The sound outlet includes a first sound outlet for transmitting sound in a receiver mode and a second sound outlet for transmitting sound in a loudspeaker mode. The second sound outlet is covered with a sound pressure sensitive member.
