Radiation imaging system
A radiation imaging system includes a two-dimensional array in which a plurality of elements which detect radiation are two-dimensionally arrayed. The plurality of elements includes a plurality of detectors usable for exposure control of stopping radiation irradiation in accordance with a fact that a radiation irradiation dose has reached a target irradiation dose. The radiation imaging system includes a controller configured to determine, based on a setting of a reading manner of signals from the plurality of detectors, a minimum irradiation time required from the start of radiation irradiation until the stop of radiation irradiation according to signals from the two-dimensional array and perform an error process when the minimum irradiation time exceeds a reference irradiation time.

In the apparatus, an exposure sensitivity corresponding to the flat panel detectors used for an X-ray imaging is selected from multiple exposure sensitivities stored in an exposure sensitivity memory unit of the console, and the selected exposure sensitivity is displayed on the display unit of the high-voltage unit. An exposure control is executed based on the exposure sensitivity corresponding to the flat panel detectors used for the X-ray imaging, which is selected from multiple exposure sensitivities stored in an exposure sensitivity memory unit. The exposure control unit of the high-voltage unit suspends the X-ray irradiation from the X-ray tube when an integrated value of the X-ray detected by the X-ray dose sensor reaches to the setting-value set relative to the selected exposure sensitivity.

The determination unit determines, based on a radiation irradiation condition set by an operator and the delay time obtained by the obtainment unit, whether to permit imaging by exposure control using a signal output from the detection unit.

A radiation detection apparatus detects radiation and generates irradiation sensing information corresponding to a dose of detected radiation, senses whether radiation emitted from a radiation generator is detected, based on the generated irradiation sensing information, and receives a control signal from a controller. The apparatus switches detectability for detection of the radiation based on a control signal received from the controller.
