DISPLAY MODULE & GLASS WITH UNDERCUT PLASTIC FRAME
An electronic device having a display assembly is disclosed. Several layers may combine to form the display assembly. For example, the display assembly may include a touch sensitive layer (or touch detection layer), a display layer that present visual information, and a force sensitive layer (or force detection layer). The display layer may include a bend or curve that allows a portion of the display layer to bend around the force sensitive layer. Also, the connectors (that provide electrical and mechanical connections) may be positioned at different locations of the layers. For example, the display layer may include a connector on a first edge region, and the force sensitive layer may include a connector on a second edge region that is perpendicular, or at least substantially perpendicular, to the first edge region. By positioning the connectors on perpendicular edge regions, the display assembly may reduce its footprint.
Battery architecture in an electronic device
An electronic device having a battery assembly is disclosed. Unlike traditional battery assemblies that include rectilinear electrodes with two sides of equal length, the battery assemblies described herein may include electrodes having a shape/configuration resembling an L-shape electrode used to form chemical reactions in order to generate electrical energy. However, other shapes/configurations are possible. The shape/configuration of the housing of the battery assembly confirms to the shape/configuration of the electrodes. Further, in order to accommodate an internal component (such as a circuit board assembly), the shape of the battery assembly provides additional space in the electronic device. In order to form the electrodes, the electrodes may undergo a die cutting operation. Also, the housing may include a channel, or reduced dimension, that accommodates a flexible circuit in the electronic device that passes over the battery assembly at the channel.
Camera module
A camera module comprising: a housing; a lens assembly that is fixed to the housing and comprises at least one lens; a circuit board that is arranged inside the housing and comprises a first circuit board and a second circuit board, on which image sensors arranged to face the lens are mounted, respectively; and a first shield can arranged inside the housing so as to support edges of the first and second circuit boards.
Electrical Device Comprising Filter and Feedthrough Capacitor
An electrical device (1) is provided, comprising an electrical high-frequency filter (9) and a shield (6) separating the filter from at least one further electrical component (9, 13) of the device, a signal conductor (17) which operably connects the filter (9) to the further component (9, 13) and traverses the shield (6) for transmitting a signal from the filter (9) to the component (9, 13) and a feedthrough capacitor system (19) being electrically arranged between the signal conductor (17) and the shield (6). The feedthrough capacitor system (19) comprises, in particular being formed essentially by, a plurality of surface mount capacitors (41) electrically arranged between the signal conductor (17) and the shield (6), the surface mount capacitors (41) in particular being surface mounted on a circuit board (11), which may be a printed circuit board.
Display module and glass with undercut plastic frame
An electronic device having a display assembly is disclosed. Several layers may combine to form the display assembly. Electronic apparatus
A leaf spring is disposed between a circuit board and a upper shield. The leaf spring biases a heat sink toward the circuit board through a connecting member. The leaf spring is not electrically connected to the upper shield. According to this structure, an integrated circuit and the heat sink can be contacted with each other with certainty. Further, generation of unnecessary radiation can be suppressed effectively.
ANTI-ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERFERENCE CIRCUIT BOARD
An anti-electromagnetic interference circuit board includes a circuit board and a magnetic conductor. The circuit board has a plurality of vias, and the magnetic conductor is covered on the circuit board to cover some of the vias. The magnetic conductor includes a plate, a carrier, a sprayed magnetic conductor, and a wave absorbing magnetic conductor.
Adaptive design and fabrication of radiation shielding inserts for electronic components
A method includes obtaining a base housing for electronic components. The base housing attenuates radiation entering the base housing by a base amount. An inner volume of the base housing defined by an inner surface of the base housing experiences attenuated radiation. The method also includes affixing one or more inserts to the inner surface of the base housing to further attenuate the attenuated radiation in corresponding one or more areas of the inner volume.
ELECTRONIC APPARATUS
Provided is an electronic apparatus including a printed board having on a front surface thereof a first region and a second region in each of which a circuit element is disposed, and a shield member formed by a single metal sheet and disposed such as to face the front surface of the printed board. The shield member has a first section that faces the first region and a second section that faces the second region, and at least a boundary section of the first section and the second section is electrically connected to a ground pattern of the printed board, the ground pattern being formed between the first region and the second region.
Electronic device including shield structure
Disclosed are various embodiments relating to an electronic device that includes a shield structure. According to an example embodiment, the electronic device may include: a housing that includes a first surface directed in a first direction and a second surface directed in a second direction that is opposite to the first direction; a printed circuit board included in the housing, wherein the printed circuit board includes a first surface directed in the first direction and a second surface directed in the second direction; at least one electronic component disposed on the first surface of the printed circuit board; and at least one shield structure configured to electro-magnetically shield the at least one electronic component, and the shield structure may include: a flexible sheet that includes a first sheet that covers the at least one electronic component and a second sheet that at least partially covers the space between the first sheet and the first surface of the printed circuit board, when viewed from above the first surface of the printed circuit board; and at least one frame structure that supports the first and second sheets.
