A torque wrench, including: a head region with a receiving opening; a bending-resistant shaft region adjoins the head region; a support formed on the shaft region; and an actuating lever including an elastically bendable portion and a handle. The receiving opening receives a screwing instrument and defines an axis of rotation. The actuating lever, in resting position, is spaced apart from the in the circumferential direction to the axis of rotation. If a screwing instrument is inserted into the opening, the actuating lever transmits a torque. The wrench has an indicator region, which the exerted torque can be read as a result of the deflection of the actuating lever. When a reference force is reached, the bending portion comes into contact with the support. When a force is applied, the bending portion can be in the tightening direction and the torque can be read in the region.

Screw-attached pick-up dental coping system and methods

A temporary alignment system and method for holding a dental coping to an implant abutment using the same threads in the abutment that are used for definitive attachment are disclosed. The disclosed temporary fasteners initially orient and hold a coping against an abutment with a force along the same axis as the semi-definitive screw. The aligned coping can be picked-up in a closed-tray impression process without unscrewing the temporary fastener. Embodiments include threaded posts that release copings from the abutment through axial forces. Some embodiments include a threaded post with separable cap that is picked-up with the coping. Methods for converting an existing prosthesis for screw attachment to implants in a single visit and digital capture of the converted prosthesis are described.

CARRIER TO FACILITATE ISQ MEASUREMENTS

A carrier tool is proposed that may be used in combination with a dental torque wrench to easily access all dental implants, regardless of their location within the mount. The carrier tool comprises a shaft for extending the reach of the wrench, with a shortened mount attached to an opposing end of the shaft. The shorted mount is used to securely hold the implant measurement device during insertion within the implant. A magnet is disposed within the interior of the mount to secure the implant measurement device (also magnetized) in place as the carrier tool is brought into the proper position with respect to the implant.

DENTAL DEVICE FOR REMOVING A PARTIALLY OR FULLY OSSEOINTEGRATED DENTAL IMPLANT

In some embodiments, the current invention relates to a method and/or system for using a standard dental handpiece for endodontic cleaning. For example, a dental adapter is disclosed having a fitting for a standard dental handpiece, a torque limiter and/or a mount for an endodontic file. For example, the adapter may be single use and/or multi use. In some embodiments, the mount includes the torque limiter. For example, an endodontic file may be connected to the mount with a friction fitting that allows rotation of the file with respect to the mount at high torque. Optionally the mount is positioned eccentrically with respect to the fitting.
