The invention relates to a method for processing prosthetic teeth for the production of a full denture or at least a partial denture with at least two prosthetic teeth with the following steps: at least two prefabricated prosthetic teeth are inserted with their coronal sides into recesses an elastic mold, a clamping device is attached to the elastic mold, and after insertion of the prosthetic teeth into the elastic mold a mechanical pressure is applied to the elastic mold with the clamping device, wherein the pressure exerts a force onto the prosthetic teeth inserted into the elastic mold via the elastic mold and thus the prosthetic teeth are affixed in the elastic mold, the prosthetic teeth are positioned and aligned in the elastic mold in such a manner in relation to each other that at the latest following application of the clamping device on the elastic mold, the prosthetic teeth comprise the desired position and desired alignment in relation to each other, the elastic mold is affixed with the clamping device and prosthetic teeth in a defined position in a holder of a CAM device for removing material of the prosthetic teeth with a CAM method, and at least one of the prosthetic teeth affixed in the elastic mold is basally ablated with a CAM method.

The invention further relates to a device for holding prosthetic teeth for the implementation of such a method and a set for the implementation of such a method with such a device.

Methods for manufacturing a denture including providing a cavity having a plurality of wells formed therein for receiving denture teeth, inserting denture teeth into the wells so that distal coronal aspects face into the wells, positioning the cavity over a core to form a molding void therebetween, in which the exposed proximal aspects of the denture teeth are in the molding void, and introducing a molding material into the molding void to envelope the proximal aspects of the denture teeth and form a denture base upon at least partial setting of the molding material. Once set, the denture base with denture teeth retained therein may be removed from the cavity and core. Using such methods, a kit of differently sized prefabricated dentures in which the denture bases comprise a plastically deformable material may be provided, an appropriate denture selected, and semi-customized to a patient.

The memory stores a set of instructions thereon that, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to: generate a print file representative of a polymeric dental prosthesis, the print file including (i) a first material, (ii) a second material that does not chemically bond with the first material, and (iii) a gradient transition zone bonding the first material to the second material that is a gradient polymer of the first material and the second material; and print, via the 3D printing device, the polymeric dental prosthesis based on the print file.
