Power toothbrush with added inertia resonant system
An added inertia resonant system (12) for a power toothbrush (10) comprises a drive shaft (16), a drive system (22), and at least one inertial weight member (24). The drive shaft (16) has a principal axis (26) that defines a center of rotation. The drive system (22) imparts a reciprocating motion to the drive shaft (16) about the principal axis (26). The at least one inertial weight member (24) couples to the drive shaft (16) and comprises a planar material having a complex shape balanced along an x-, y- and z-axis to enable the drive system (22) to achieve low power, high amplitude motion of the drive shaft (16) when placed under user loading. A method for providing added inertia in a resonant system for a power toothbrush is also disclosed.

Vibration structure of electrical toothbrush
A vibration structure of electrical toothbrush includes an eccentric rod. Two ends of the eccentric rod are respectively formed with a transmission section and a weight section. The transmission section is drivable by a driving force to rotate so as to drive the weight section to eccentrically vibrate. The weight section has an opening and a receiving space inward recessed from the opening. A cover member is correspondingly mated with the opening to cover the same. A weight block is disposed in the receiving space to partially or totally increase the weight of the weight section, whereby due to the increased weight, the weight section is unbalanced in weight to deflect from a central axis of the eccentric rod.
ANGLED-HEAD ROTARY CLEANING DEVICE FOR DENTAL PURPOSES
An angled-head rotary cleaning device for dental purposes includes a plastic housing having an elongated neck portion that defines a sleeve with a wall. The neck portion includes a first end and a second end. The plastic housing has a head portion coupled to the first end of the neck portion and angled relative to the neck portion. The cleaning device also includes an elongated light guiding element having a light entry portion to receive light, and a light exit portion to emit light. At least a portion of the light guiding element is accommodated within the wall of the neck portion.
Brush and head
A brush includes a head with bristles, an actuator that expands and contracts in accordance with an electric signal, a connection member that transmits vibration of the actuator to the head, and a body including a housing that houses the actuator. The direction of reciprocal vibration of the head is at a predetermined angle relative to the direction of extension of the housing.
TRACKED TOOTHBRUSH AND TOOTHBRUSH TRACKING SYSTEM
A dental device tracking method including acquiring, using an imager of a dental device, at least a first image which includes an image of at least one user body portion outside of a user’s oral cavity; identifying the at least one user body portion in the first image; and determining, using the at least the first image, a position of the dental device with respect to the at least one user body portion.
