An implantable device includes a conduit, an adjustable membrane element coupled to the conduit near the front end of the conduit for controllable coaptation of a body lumen, such as coaptation of a urethra as treatment for urinary incontinence, and a helix coupled to the front end of the conduit. The helix functions as a fixation mechanism to anchor the implantable device to the tissue. The implantable device can be inserted into tissue using a sheath and can be rotated with the sheath by partially inflating the adjustable membrane element placed in a front end portion of the sheath, and the helix can be turned into the tissue by rotating the sheath.

Penile prosthesis anchoring system

An implantable device for penile construction can comprise an anchor plate and at least one attachment member. The anchor plate can be configured to engage with a first portion of a pelvic bone of a patient. The anchor plate can comprise a prosthesis attachment interface configured to be coupled to a penile prosthesis, and at least one attachment member configured to attach to the anchor plate. The at least one attachment member can be configured to engage with a second portion of the pelvic bone of the patient. The engagement of the anchor plate with the first portion of the pelvic bone and the engagement of the attachment member with the second portion of the pelvic bone can couple the pelvic bone between the anchor plate and the at least one attachment member.

Trocar Device and System and Method for Monitoring Navigation of the Trocar Device

An improved trocar device or instrument configured for single or multiple uses is disclosed. The improved trocar device has a novel flexible surgical assembly including an introducer component or a handle with scissor-like members with a channel formed within to accommodate a shaft component that slides within the channel. The introducer component may be squeezed or compressed to cause a locking mechanism to engage the shaft component to secure it and maintain it steady near the active area of the surgical procedure. The improved trocar device or instrument is coupled to a monitoring system for automatically monitoring the penetration route and behavior of the trocar device held by a robotic arm or a surgeon to assist either one with navigating the trocar shaft into a patient's body.

Y-SHAPED SACROCOLPOPEXY SUPPORT

A Y-shaped support has a head section having a first free end and a second end secured to a leg section, with the leg section having a first leg extending from the second end of the head section and a second leg extending from the second end of the head section. A first connector is provided as a first interlocking stitch, with the first interlocking stitch passed through open leg spaces of the first leg and open head spaces in the head section. A second connector is provided as a second interlocking stitch, with the second interlocking stitch passed through the aligned open leg spaces of the first leg and the second leg to connect the first leg to the second leg. The second end of the head section is located outside a space where the first leg is connected to the second leg.
