A releasable interlocking device comprising a pair of interactive plates, for fastening to apparel utilising a system of two interactive plates which when brought together utilises the thickness of the apparel and stud of a male plate to engage through the lips of the female plate to snap fit and lock without damage to the aforesaid apparel.

This invention relates to a modular dog toy comprising three disparately sized and shaped components, each having a hollow cavity for the reception of foodstuffs. The components each comprise a male connector and a female connector. One of the components has at least one additional connector about its surface. These three disparate components may be connected in a variety of different configurations to modify the difficulty of obtaining the food for the dog. This allows the modular dog toy to be tailored to suit the requirements and physical abilities of the dog.

A magnetic fastener system has a first fastener structure with a body having a first side and a second side. At least one of a male or female friction-snap fastener is positioned on the first side. A pocket is formed within the second side and a first magnet positioned therein. A recessed surface formed in an interior of the pocket. A captive wall formed around the recessed surface. A second fastener structure central portion is formed by an inner sidewall. A second magnet positionable within the central portion. An outer sidewall defines a shape of the second fastener structure. The captive wall is removably insertable into a receiving space between the outer sidewall and the inner sidewall. The central portion is removably insertable into the pocket. The first and second fastener structures are magnetically connectable.

A neckwear includes a neckband, a neckband module and one or more torso segments connected by fasteners. The neckwear may include a plurality of pivoting, intra-changeable, metallic torso segments. Also provided are improved take-apart fasteners and improved quick-release buckles, for use in neckwear, jewelry, wristwatches and watchbands or for otherwise securing objects.

An assembly is disclosed, the assembly for providing release structure to a lanyard or strap adapted to be worn on the body, such as a neck strap. The release structure consists of a snap button assembly configured such that the release pull generated by tension in the strap is directed along an axis perpendicular to the closure and rotation plane of the male and female portion of the snap button assemblies. With structure to configure a release pull in such an axis, a safety feature is provided to the wearer such that tension in the strap, when it reaches a sufficient force to overcome the closure forces of the snap button assembly, will release the closed snap button and allow the strap to fall away from the body. Also, as in the case of a firefighter wearing an SCBA fire mask, it prevents the firefighter from being entangled or tethered if the strap were to get accidentally hooked or caught on something. The breakaway will allow the firefighter to continue using the mask with no interruption of breathing air from the mask. In lanyards and tool holders, those fall away from the body. In the case of a firefighter, the mask does not fall away from the body.

A device to perform multiple uses with textiles in everyday apparel and commercial textile uses. It is a decorative piece or labeling device for apparel or textiles, a temporary and adjustable fastener for holding onto a single or holding together multiple pieces of material, as well as a temporary alteration tool that can provide a tailored effect.

It is an object of my invention to be used as a fastener temporarily engaging and holding sections of material, such as a single layer attaching itself onto the material just like a piece of jewelry on a blouse or holding together overlapped layers on material like on a jacket or scarf, without piercing the material, which can be adjusted or removed at any time easily. Component 2 of the fastener is a matching base providing a contact surface and protruding connection for a matching piece, component 1 that is pressed into place that gently but firmly connects to hold material together. The base plate is made of a lightweight plastic, resin, and or metal that has a patented gasket like outcropping with a built up lip that will receive and hold component 1, the top plate, pressed down to engage it component 2. This connection is key and is one of the most important features of this invention. Not damaging like other penetrating devices like safety pins or clamps with pointy metal or plastic teeth to grab and hold onto material surfaces, etc. The top plates can be made of plastic, metal, resin, wood, etc. in endless shapes, designs and pattern. This is the plate that is visible on the outside of the material or garment. Plate 1 can also be double sided giving the user even more style options or for more branding or labeling functions as well.

There is another function of this object when it is used with a third component is engaged. This object can be used as a means to do temporary alterations. By pushing through and holding some material inside the garment or material (showing or not showing depending on your style preference), it gives the appearance of slimming or shaping. You use the first two plates (1&2) as you would for the two previous uses above and then you are able to add a third piece in the center of the other two plates. See FIG. 3. You just wait to engage the top piece onto the base plate until you have pushed through the amount of material you wish gathered. Then you insert the component 3 all the way through the center of joined component 1 and 2 until it catches and seats underneath the beveled edge of the underneath section of component 2 mentioned above. A fastener for a garment, particularly suited to use in a garment such as a brassiere, comprises a female part and a male part that interlock together. The female part is connected to a first garment piece and the male part is connected to a second garment piece. The fastener is an overlapping fastener of the type in which the male piece is engaged with the female piece by inserting a connector plate of a male part into an aperture of a female part at an angle and thereafter pivoting the male part relative the female part thereby snap-fitting the connector plate in place in the aperture. The male part has a recess formed therein surrounding the connector plate which provides added stability to the male part and significantly increases its tensile strength characteristic.
