SNAP ON ACCESSORY FOR GARMENTS
The present invention introduces a revolutionary Snap-On attachment system designed to transform the integration of wearable accessories into clothing, shoes, home articles, and accessories. This innovative system addresses the limitations of traditional attachment methods by providing a user-friendly, durable, and versatile solution that enables multiple installations and removals without causing damage to the fabrics and materials. To enhance customization, the invention introduces Snap-On sleeves with additional snap attachments, enabling users to add multiple accessories and personalize their garments to suit their preferences. These Snap-Ons are crafted from premium materials, ensuring long-lasting effectiveness and resistance to wear and tear, making them ideal for everyday use. Furthermore, the Snap-Ons provide branding opportunities for businesses and organizations, with customizable shapes, colors, raised letters, and other indicia allowing for distinctive visual representation and use as identification devices.
Retainer assembly having a rotatable, releasable snap button engagement
An assembly is disclosed, the assembly for providing release structure to a lanyard or strap adapted to be worn on the body, such as a neck strap. The release structure consists of a snap button assembly configured such that the release pull generated by tension in the strap is directed along an axis perpendicular to the closure and rotation plane of the male and female portion of the snap button assemblies. With structure to configure a release pull in such an axis, a safety feature is provided to the wearer such that tension in the strap, when it reaches a sufficient force to overcome the closure forces of the snap button assembly, will release the closed snap button and allow the strap to fall away from the body. Also, as in the case of a firefighter wearing an SCBA fire mask, it prevents the firefighter from being entangled or tethered if the strap were to get accidentally hooked or caught on something. The breakaway will allow the firefighter to continue using the mask with no interruption of breathing air from the mask. In lanyards and tool holders, those fall away from the body. In the case of a firefighter, the mask does not fall away from the body.
Two-Part Watch Strap
A two-part watch strap (1) including a clasping part (2) and a clasped part (3). The clasping part (2) includes: a clasping-part watch-attaching end; a clasping end opposite the clasping-part watch-attaching end; a strap/band/bracelet portion (4) extending between the watch-attaching and clasping ends of the clasping part (2); and a groove (11) arranged in the strap/band/bracelet portion (4). The clasped part (3) includes: a clasped-part watch-attaching end; a free end (9) opposite the clasped-part watch-attaching end; a strap/band/bracelet portion (6) extending between the watch-attaching and free ends of the clasped part (3); and a protruding portion (10) adjacent to, near, or at the free end (9). The protruding portion (10) is configured to engage with and at least partially lock into the groove (11) of the clasping part (2) so as to secure the free end (9) of the clasped part (3) to the clasping part (2).
Garment Fastener
A fastener for a garment, particularly suited to use in a garment such as a brassiere, comprises a female part and a male part that interlock together. The female part is connected to a first garment piece and the male part is connected to a second garment piece. The fastener is an overlapping fastener of the type in which the male piece is engaged with the female piece by inserting a connector plate of a male part into an aperture of a female part at an angle and thereafter pivoting the male part relative the female part thereby snap-fitting the connector plate in place in the aperture. The male part has a recess formed therein surrounding the connector plate which provides added stability to the male part and significantly increases its tensile strength characteristic.
Clickable Lock
A lock device is disclosed. The lock device includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion has a hollow portion and a connecting section wherein the connecting section is at the periphery of the hollow portion. The second portion is configured to be engaged to the hollow portion of the first portion when the second portion is slid in a biased direction across the connecting section of the hollow portion and thus mounted on the first portion. A plurality of elastic clicks disposed on an inner surface of the first portion. The sliding movement of the second portion is stopped by one or more stoppers to interlock second portion with first portion, wherein the one or more stoppers are disposed at an end of the connecting section. The second portion is positioned parallel to the first portion in a locked state.
SNAP-TYPE FASTENER ARRANGEMENT
A snap-type fastener arrangement includes various elements. For example, the snap-type fastener arrangement includes a socket component and a stud component. The stud component is insertable into the socket component to releasably couple two items together. The snap-type fastener includes a construction having a relatively low profile that does not extensively protrude outward from the underlying article to which the snap-type fastener is attached. The socket component includes a portion for securing the socket component to a textile layer and a central portion that extends through the textile layer. The stud component may be inserted into a socket aperture in the central portion of the socket in order to mate the two components.

The breakaway will allow the firefighter to continue using the mask with no interruption of breathing air from the mask. In lanyards and tool holders, those fall away from the body. In the case of a firefighter, the mask does not fall away from the body.
FEATURE MOLDING INTO FABRICS
A fastening mechanism that is integrated with the material of an article of clothing is described. The article of clothing, preferably a sock or glove, is treated with a chemical agent and a press to form a fastening mechanism for holding or coupling of multiple articles of clothing or manufacture. The fastening mechanism of one article of clothing can then be matched to an interlocking fastening mechanism of another article of clothing thereby joining the two articles of clothing together. The chemical agent and subsequent fastening mechanism is generally desired to be non-reactive and is preferably resistant to water and heat. This allows the article of clothing to be worn and washed as normal without a loss of functionality.
Press stud with an anti-uncoupling system
A press stud comprises a male element and a female element, which show, when coupled, a capacity for mutual transverse displacement with respect to the coupling direction to move, when subjected to tension acting in a substantially transverse direction with respect to the coupling direction, from an uncouplable position to a locked position. An elastic centring member exerts an elastic force on the male element and/or on the female element to keep them in the uncouplable position in the absence of tension acting in a substantially transverse direction with respect to the coupling direction.
