Snap button, and a female component for such snap button
A snap button includes a male component and a female component which couple and uncouple as a result of effort in a main axial direction. The male component has a base from which there protrudes a rounded head, which is provided with a neck which is narrower than the head. The female component has a hollow body with an opening within which the head of the male component is introduced. Two flexible bars of a plastics material are mounted in the hollow body, the flexible bars having the ends thereof blocked. The distance between the central zones of the two flexible bars is lower than the dimension of the head of the male component so that they can be flexibly forced away from each other by a force exerted by the head of the male component and to resiliently move back towards each other when the force stops.
Locking magnetic fasteners
Embodiments disclosed herein relate to magnetic fasteners capable of transitioning between a locked state and an unlocked state. In some embodiments, the magnetic fastener includes a first fastening portion and a second fastening portion configured to interface with one another. The first fastening portion may include a first pin with a channel configured to receive a second pin disposed on the second fastening portion. The channel may include a recess and the second pin may include a projection complementary to the recess such that the projection may be disposed within the recess when the respective central axes of the first and second fastening portions are offset. Thus, a portion of the recess may abut the projection when the respective central axes of the first and second fastening portions are offset, thus locking the first and second fastening portions relative to one another. Conversely, when the respective central axes of the first and second fastening portions are aligned, the projection may not be disposed within the recess, and accordingly, the first and second fastening portions may be capable of being unfastened from one another.

Functional element comprising a ball-like welded element, combination of components comprising a functional element of said type, and method for manufacturing a combination of components of said type
A method is provided for manufacturing a combination of components. The method includes the following steps: manufacturing a functional element by providing a plate-type base element and integrally bonding a ball or a ball-shaped element to the plate-type base element, in particular by welding a ball or a ball-shaped element onto a flat plate-type element, and joining the functional element to a first component.
MALE MEMBER OF SNAP FASTENER AND SNAP FASTENER
This male member of a snap fastener is provided with a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first portion is composed of a plastic material, and the second portion is composed of a metal portion. In addition, the male member of the snap fastener has an engaging protrusion part working together with an eyelet of a female member, and a cover which at least partially covers the engaging protrusion part is provided to a side of the male member, the side facing the female member.
Snap-type fastener arrangement
A snap-type fastener arrangement includes various elements. For example, the snap-type fastener arrangement includes a socket component and a stud component. The stud component is insertable into the socket component to releasably couple two items together. The snap-type fastener includes a construction having a relatively low profile that does not extensively protrude outward from the underlying article to which the snap-type fastener is attached. The socket component includes a portion for securing the socket component to a textile layer and a central portion that extends through the textile layer. The stud component may be inserted into a socket aperture in the central portion of the socket in order to mate the two components.
Attachment device
A method for attaching a first surface to a second surface with a fastening device. The fastening device has a female component having a female opening featuring a broader female width at a first depth and a narrower female width at a second depth. The female component also has a female attachment surface with an interior slope rising away from the female opening. The fastening device also has a male component with a male attachment member that at least partially conforms to the interior slope of the female attachment surface. The male attachment member also has a broader male width larger than the narrower female width. The method comprises mounting the female component to the first surface, mounting the male component to the second surface, aligning the male component to the interior slope on the female component and applying pressure to couple the male component and the female component.
Attaching apparatus and method for attaching attachment object to fabric using fastening member
An attaching apparatus, which attaches an attachment object to a fabric using a fastening member, includes at least one pair of first holding members configured to hold an attachment object; and a first die configured to hold the attachment object at a terminal of a die main body. The first die moves such that the attachment object, held at the at least one pair of first holding members, is held at the terminal of the die main body and then the attachment object is placed onto the fabric. The attachment object is transferred from the at least one pair of first holding members to the first die at a position distanced away from the fabric.
Connection Device
A connection device that facilitates easy manual connector assembly and disassembly, however, having the ability to semi securely hold the connectors together with a progressive frictional interference fit that can be disassembled with some additional manual frictional force, further, the connector assembly can desirably have a rotational lock interface to prevent inadvertent relative rotation between the connector assembly, in addition the connector assembly would have piloting interface to add bending moment resistance to the connector interface.
