CONNECTOR
There is provided a connector for connecting first and second parts of an apparatus, comprising: a first part; a second part, opposing the first part; and two, or more, arms extending between the first part and the second part connecting the first part and the second part, the arms being formed from a deformable material and configured to deform to allow the first part and the second part to slide relative to each other at a low friction interface; the first part comprising a first sliding surface; the second part comprising a second sliding surface, opposing the first sliding surface, the low friction interface being provided between the first and second sliding surfaces; the first part comprising a first attachment part on a side of the first sliding surface opposite to the second sliding surface, configured to connect the first sliding surface to the first part of the apparatus; the second part comprising a second attachment part on a side of the second sliding surface opposite to the first sliding surface, configured to connect the second sliding surface to the second part of the apparatus.
Riveting multi-directional closure
A riveting multi-directional closure includes a female part releasably engagable with a male part. The female part and the male part of the closure may each be riveted to a piece of the garment or article in any orientation without adversely affecting the efficacy of the closure. Embodiments of the closure include a hybrid of plastic and metal components, and a pair of complementary magnets, providing fast, sturdy, and secure attachment to the article, as well as comfort and ease of manipulation to a user. The female part and the male part include a plate with prongs for piercing the article, and a slot ring for receiving the prongs. The closure is attachable to the article by sandwiching the article between the plate and the slot ring and riveting the prongs within the slot ring.
Female Button and Combination of Female Button and Male Button
A female button is in an unlocked state when a rotator takes a first position and is in a locked state when the rotator takes a second position, insertion and removal of a post of a male button being allowed in the unlocked state, and insertion and removal of the post of the male button being hindered in the locked state. Arresting part or elastic member is provided with a projection which, when the rotator rotates toward the second position, displaces the arresting part toward the rotational axis before the rotator reaches the second position and, if the displacement of the arresting part toward the rotational axis is obstructed by the post, rotational resistance of the rotator is increased.
CLOSURE SYSTEM FOR GARMENTS
A garment comprises a first panel comprising a first pocket and a first fastener on the first panel, and a second panel comprising a second pocket and a second fastener on the second panel. The first fastener couples with the second fastener to close a portion of the garment.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR IMPROVING DECOR
The present invention discloses a versatile design system which has a base board, a face board, each board having a surface with at least one integrated securing mechanism. The securing mechanisms are made up an opposing end and a receiving end. Such securing mechanisms has either snap sockets, snap studs or alternate snap together mechanisms. The base board or surface may act as a wallboard wherein a plurality of face board attachments can easily be attached and removed without the use of tools, glue or other permanent bonding method. The present invention allows for a variety of components both decorative and functional with integrated snap studs or snap sockets or alternate snap together mechanisms.
Attachment device
An attachment apparatus for selectively attaching a device to a flexible material, includes a first member, a second member, and a void. The first member has a first wall defining a first opening. The first member includes a first retention feature. The second member has a second retention feature selectively attached to the first retention feature in an attached state to connect the second member to the first member and to the flexible material. The void is formed between the second surface of the first wall and the flexible material when the second member is in the attached state. The first member is operable to support the device within the void between the second surface of the first member and the flexible material when the second member is in the attached state.
MAGNETIC FASTENERS
A magnetic snap fastener for releasably coupling a first material to a second material. The fastener includes a first fastening assembly affixable to the first material, and disposed in a first water-resistant enclosure. The fastener includes in one embodiment a second fastening assembly affixable to the second material. The first and second fastening assemblies each include a ferromagnetic eyelet having an integrally formed flange and protrusion magnetically coupled to a toroidal-shaped magnet. Alternatively, the second fastening assembly is a ferromagnetic cap or button. The first and second fastening assemblies provide magnetic coupling to releasably couple the first and second materials.
Double Mattress Connecting System
Two mattresses, of a same a different depth, share a same length and width. Each is in a shape of a rectangular prism and when placed one on top of the other, a larger rectangular prism is created. In order to hold the two mattresses in place when used together, a connector or connectors emanating from the sides or corners of each mattress are used. Such connectors can include hoop and loop fasteners, rings, hooks, lengths of fabric, and any combination thereof which hold the mattresses together in a taut manner.
NECKWEAR AND FASTENERS
A neckwear includes a neckband, a neckband module and one or more torso segments connected by fasteners. The neckwear may include a plurality of pivoting, intra-changeable, metallic torso segments. Also provided are improved take-apart fasteners and improved quick-release buckles, for use in neckwear, jewelry, wristwatches and watchbands or for otherwise securing objects.
Undergarment Assembly
An undergarment assembly for inhibiting bulges resulting from an elastic undergarment includes a garment for wearing over brassiere and beneath clothing. The garment is comprised of a deformable and non-elastic material such that said garment does not constrict when said garment is worn. In this way the garment is inhibited from forming bulges on a user's torso that may be visible through the clothing. The garment includes a pair of straps and each of the straps is releasably attached to a respective pair of brassiere straps to retain the garment on the user.
