An implant catheter has a highly flexible portion. The highly flexible portion includes a liner positioned adjacent to a catheter coil. Some implementations of the implant catheter include sections where a portion of the coil layer is free from all material of the outer jacket. In some implementations, a portion of a layer internal to the catheter is omitted. Some implementations include a coil formed form wire with a self-aligning cross-section.

TISSUE CLAMPING DEVICES

A tissue clamping device including a clamp, a first connector, a second connector, and a clip is provided. The clamp may include a supporting unit, a first interior clamping arm, a first exterior clamping arm, a second interior clamping arm, and a second exterior clamping arm. The supporting unit may be connected to the first interior clamping arm, the first exterior clamping arm, the second interior clamping arm, and the second exterior clamping arm. The clamp may be connected to a portion between the first connector and the second connector. A relative movement of the first connector and the second connector may drive the first interior clamping arm and the second interior clamping arm to be expanded or folded relatively. The clip may include a first clip and a second clip, and the first clip and the second clip may be respectively expanded or folded.

Valve Repair Clip with Automatic Locking Mechanism Activation

A mitral valve clip includes a stud, a lock, and two arms. The stud includes a shank, and the lock includes a frame relative to which the stud is translatable and into which the shank extends. The lock is able to prevent movement of the stud relative to the lock in at least one direction by locking engagement of the shank. The two arms are connected to the lock and the stud such that an angle between the arms depends on a location of the stud relative to the lock. The locking engagement of the shank that prevents movement of the stud relative to the lock in the at least one direction is only possible when the angle between the arms is below a predefined locking threshold.

MITRAL VALVE LEAFLET CLIP

A fixation device for engaging heart valve leaflets includes a center member with a first end, an opposite second end, and a length extending therebetween, first and second arms each having a first free end and an opposite second end, the second end of each arm extending from the second end of the center member, the first and second arms biased in a first position adjacent the center member and moveable to a second position spaced apart from the center member, and an actuator configured to move the first and second arms from the first position to the second position.

A valve clamping device (100) includes a fixing base (20), a pair of clamping arms (40), an actuator assembly (70) and a locking mechanism (80). The actuator assembly (70) includes an actuator shaft (72) movably inserted into the fixing base (20), the actuator shaft (72) moves axially to actuate the clamping arms (40) to be open and closed relative to the fixing base (20), and a positioning portion (720) is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the actuator shaft (72). The locking mechanism (80) includes a locking member (82) and a pushing member (84), a locking hole (820) is provided axially in the locking member (82), the actuator shaft (72) passes through the locking hole (820), and the pushing member (84) abuts against the locking member (82) and is provided obliquely in the fixing base (20), so that an edge (281) of the locking hole (820) is engaged with the positioning portion (720).

Native valve repair devices and procedures

A valve repair device for repairing a native valve of a patient includes a pair of paddles and a pair of gripping members. The pair of paddles are movable between an open position and a closed position. Each paddle comprises a metal loop that is moveable from a compressed condition where each metal loop has a first width to an expanded condition where each loop has a second width that is greater than the first width. The pair of gripping members are configured to attach to the native valve of the patient.

An implant includes a primary structural element, and two clips coupled to the primary structural element, on opposite lateral sides of the primary structural element from each other, each of the clips having a first clip element and a second clip element. The implant is transluminally advanced to a heart valve of a subject. The implant is coupled to leaflets of the valve (i) by, for each of the clips, closing the clip around a central part of a respective leaflet of the valve by causing deflection between the first clip element and the second clip element, thereby sandwiching the central part of the respective leaflet between the first clip element and the second clip element, and (ii) such that the leaflets form a double orifice configuration, with the primary structural element disposed between the central parts of the leaflets. Other embodiments are also described.

Heart valve clamp

The application relates to a heart valve clamp, comprises a fixed arm mechanism, a clamping arm mechanism, and a driving mechanism. The fixed arm mechanism comprises a fixed arm body and at least two fixed arms, extending outward from the fixed arm body, and integrally formed with the fixed arm body. The clamping arm mechanism comprises a clamping arm body connected to a bottom of the fixed arm body, and at least two clamping arms extending outward from the clamping arm bodies and integrally formed with the clamping arm body; and the driving mechanism comprises a second driving assembly that drives the fixed arm and the clamping arm to open or close. The fixed arm mechanism and the clamping arm mechanism of the entire heart valve clamp respectively forms an integral form, which can avoid the risk of the fixed arm or the clamping arm being disengaged, the stability of the whole structure is better. The fixed arm and the clamping arm clamp the valve leaflets under three-dimensional ultrasound and angiography navigation, so that the regurgitation area is reduced, which is capable of treating mitral or tricuspid regurgitation while keeping heat beating.

DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR TRANSCATHETER TREATMENT OF VALVULAR REGURGITATION
