ORTHOPAEDIC IMPLANT SYSTEMS INCLUDING INTERNAL NETWORKS AND METHODS OF REPAIR
This disclosure relates to orthopaedic implant systems and methods for repairing bone defects and restoring functionality to a joint. The implant systems and methods disclosed herein may include augments extending from respective baseplates. The augments may have an internal network for communicating material in the respective implant.
Method for testing additively manufactured orthopaedic prosthetic components
A prosthetic orthopaedic component includes a porous three dimensional structure. The porous three dimensional structure includes post-manufacture residual particles that are to be removed. Methods are therefore disclosed for removing the residual particles and analyzing the particles.
PROSTHETIC FEMORAL HEAD AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A femoral head prosthesis is a multilayer composite having a metal neck stem component thread or press fit into a hollow rigid shell of metal or ceramic, a polymeric core filling the interior volume under the hollow rigid shell and around a forward part of the neck stem, and a smooth, void-free polymeric articulation layer of at most 12 mm over the exterior of the shell. The prosthesis is formed by a polymeric molding process wherein polymerizing resin or heated thermoplastic material is flowed in a mold through a set of holes through the hollow shell into the interior volume and around the shell's exterior. Once the resin has cured or the thermoplastic cooled, the stem, core, shell and articulation layer collectively form an integral prosthesis of a desired head diameter matching a patient's anatomy.

System and method for bone fusing implants
A bone fusing implant device includes an elongated body extending along a longitudinal direction and having a star-shaped cross-section. The elongated body includes a central through-opening extending through the elongated body's center along the longitudinal direction and an outer surface with alternating elongated ridges and slit openings extending along the longitudinal direction. The outer surface is coated with bone growth enhancing additives.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL POROUS STRUCTURES FOR BONE INGROWTH AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING
An orthopaedic prosthetic component is provided. The orthopaedic prosthetic component comprises a porous three-dimensional structure shaped to be implanted in a patient's body. The porous three-dimensional structure comprises a plurality of unit cells. At least one unit cell comprises a first geometric structure having a first geometry and comprising a plurality of first struts, and a second geometric structure having a second geometry and comprising a plurality of second struts connected to a number of the plurality of first struts to form the second geometric structure.
LATERALIZED DUAL-MOBILITY ASSEMBLY
A modular acetabular cup assembly includes an acetabular cup, and a liner seated in the cup. The cup includes an end face, an apex opposite the end face, and a central axis extending between the apex and a center point of the end face. The liner includes an articular surface having a center of rotation which defines a pivot point of the acetabular cup assembly. In certain embodiments, the pivot point is laterally offset from the center point such that the end face is located between the pivot point and the apex.

Systems for and methods of preparing and fusing a sacroiliac joint
A system for performing a fusion procedure on a sacroiliac joint defined between a sacrum and an ilium. The system may include a working cannula including a proximal end, a distal end, a tubular body extending between the proximal and distal ends, a cannula passageway defined within the tubular body and having a cannula axis extending there through, a pair of prongs coupled to the tubular body and extending distally there from, an anchor arm engagement structure coupled to the tubular body, and a pin guide coupled to the tubular body and defining a pin passageway having a guidance axis there through that is generally parallel with the cannula axis.
