Molding hook and loop fastener
Provided is a molding hook and loop fastener, in which a barrier erected near left and right side edges of a substrate includes at least two rows of vertical wall arrays, and the vertical wall array positioned on the outermost side includes a plurality of gaps provided at a predetermined pitch in a length direction. At least two of the gaps are provided on the vertical wall array positioned on the outermost side with respect to a region between the engaging elements adjacent in the length direction of the substrate. Due to this, in the molding hook and loop fastener, an outer side and an inner side of the barrier can be divided by the vertical wall array, and flexibility of the molding hook and loop fastener can be improved.
FASTENER TAPE
A self-engaging fastener has a flexible base sheet and an array of discrete fastener elements projecting from a broad side of the base sheet. Each fastener element has a stem extending from the base sheet and a head at a distal end of the stem, the head overhanging the base sheet on multiple sides of the stem. The heads of the discrete fastener elements are arranged in a pattern of hexagonal groupings of fastener element heads bordering central regions void of fastener element heads, with each fastener element head spaced from edges of the array being part of three adjacent groupings. The product features a particularly high separation resistance for the area of the product covered by the heads.
METHOD OF MAKING A LAMINATE
The method includes providing a thermoplastic web having mechanical fastening elements and a nonlinear line of weakness that extends predominantly in a first direction and demarcates nonlinear edges of two sub-webs but does not sever the thermoplastic web. The method further includes severing the thermoplastic web at the nonlinear line of weakness into the two sub-webs and joining the two sub-webs to a carrier to form the laminate. The two sub-webs are separated in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. Severing the thermoplastic web and joining the two sub-webs to the carrier are carried out in-line without offsetting the two sub-webs in the first direction.
Process of making hook-and-loop fastener
A process of manufacturing a loops component of hook-and-loop fastener include placing a thermoplastic material in a dehumidifier to remove water from the thermoplastic material; mixing the dry thermoplastic material in a mixing device to form a liquid substance; activating the membrane making device to make a continuous membrane; activating a laminating device to heat the continuous membrane on a fabric to form a loops component by sticking the continuous membrane and the fabric together; placing the loops component in a cooling device to form a solid loops component; activating a cutting device to cut the solid loops component into first loops components; activating a heating device to join left and right sides of the first loops component to form a second loops component having an outer fabric and an inner membrane; and activating the cutting device to cut the second loops component into finished loops components.
Retaining device including reinforced retaining elements
A retaining device includes a base (51) extending in a longitudinal direction and presenting a top face (511) and a bottom face (512); and a plurality of retaining elements extending from the top face (511) of the base (51), each of the retaining elements being formed by a stem (52) surmounted by a head (53), the stem (52) having a bottom end (521) connected to the base (51), and a top end (522) opposite from the bottom end (521), the head (53) surmounting the top end (522) of the stem (52), and having a bottom face facing towards the base and a top face opposite from the bottom face.
Molding Apparatus and Manufacturing Method for Molded Surface Fastener
Provided is a molding apparatus used for manufacturing a molded surface fastener wherein a die wheel driving rotationally has a concentric double cylinder structure provided with an outer side cylindrical body that has provided therethrough a plurality of penetrating holes, and an inner side cylindrical body that has formed, in the outer peripheral surface thereof, a plurality of grooved portions, the grooved portions located in the inner side cylindrical body include a use grooved portion that intersects with the penetrating hole of the outer side cylindrical body and a non-use grooved portion that is covered by the inner peripheral surface of the outer side cylindrical body. By using this molding apparatus obtained is a molded surface fastener in which a plurality of types of engaging elements having different shapes in a plan view are arranged cyclically in a reference direction.
FLEXIBLE TOUCH FASTENER PRODUCTS
A sheet-form fastener product has a flexible substrate such as a lightweight non-woven fabric and a resin layer covering only part of one side of the flexible substrate and leaving a region of the flexible substrate exposed. The resin layer carries multiple touch fastener elements each having a resin stem extending integrally from the layer away from the flexible substrate to an engageable head. A flexible ferromagnetic coating is bonded to the flexible substrate and extends under both the resin layer and the exposed region of the flexible substrate. The resin layer can be arranged as spaced-apart lanes or islands of resin and the coating can be arranged as spaced lanes or islands or otherwise leaving at least a portion of the substrate exposed.
LOCK FASTENER
[Object] To provide lock fasteners that can be easily manufactured to have great fastening ability.
[Solution] A lock fastener includes a touch fastener and a base member 4 insert-molded to the touch fastener. The base member 4 is formed with a space 32 adapted to be filled with a resin material at a time of insert-molding, and the space 32 includes an opening 38-41 formed in a surface 25 of the base member 4. The opening 38-41 is surrounded by a peripheral wall part 45 of the surface 25. The peripheral wall part 45 is adapted to abut a base of the touch fastener at the time of insert molding and to serve as a bank for preventing the resin material filled into the space 32 from leaking.
FORMING AND APPLYING A MATED FASTENER ASSEMBLY
A mechanical touch fastener assembly (10, 101) including two longitudinally continuous tapes (16), (18) carrying engaged fastener patches (12, 12a), (14, 14a,14b, 14c). The first tape (16) carrying a series of first fastener patches (12, 12a) arranged in a row along a length of the tape (16) and carrying a field of touch fastening features. Each first patch longitudinally spaced from adjacent first patches (12, 12a). The second tape (18) carrying a series of second fastener patches (14, 14a, 14b, 14c) carrying a second field of touch fastening features. The first (16) and second (18)
