Method of Handling Channel Status Information and Related Communication Device
A communication device of performing a communication operation with a first cell of a network comprises a storage device for storing instructions and a processing circuit coupled to the storage device. The processing circuit is configured to execute the instructions stored in the storage device. The instructions comprise receiving control information for triggering the communication operation with the first cell via a second cell of the network, when the first cell is scheduled by the second cell; and performing the communication operation with the first cell according to an on-off state of the first cell.
Mitigation of transmission errors of quantized channel state information feedback in multi antenna systems
Methods are disclosed for improving communications on feedback transmission channels, in which there is a possibility of bit errors. The basic solutions to counter those errors are: proper design of the CSI vector quantizer indexing (i.e., the bit representation of centroid indices) in order to minimize impact of index errors, use of error detection techniques to expurgate the erroneous indices and use of other methods to recover correct indices.
Layer 1 and layer 3 measurement coordination
A user equipment (UE) may be configured to perform layer 1 (L1) measurement procedures and layer 3 (L3) measurement procedures. The UE configures a channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) layer 3 (L3) measurement window, identifies a collision between a layer 1 (L1) measurement operation and a L3 measurement operation and omits at least one L1 measurement in response to identifying the collision.

Method and apparatus for efficient precoding information validation for MIMO communications
A method and apparatus for efficient precoding matrix verification in a multiple-input multiple-output MIMO wireless communication system are disclosed. A wireless transmit/receive unit WTRU sends a precoding matrix index PMI to an eNodeB. The eNodeB sends a verification message including a PMI indicator indicating whether or not the PMI of the WTRU and a PMI of the eNodeB are identical. If the PMI of the WTRU and of the eNodeB are identical, the eNodeB sends just a PMI indicator otherwise the eNodeB sends to the WTRU a PMI indicator and the PMI of the eNodeB. A plurality of PMIs may be sent simultaneously, and the PMIs may be partitioned into a plurality of groups. The PMI indicator may be either attached to or inserted into control signaling. PMI validation messages can be signaled to WTRU by control signaling or use of a dedicated reference signal.
PARAMETER ADJUSTMENT FOR RADIO LINK FAILURE (RLF) PROCEDURE ENHANCED BY APERIODIC BEAM FAILURE RECOVERY (BFR) TRIGGERS
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to techniques that may enhance radio link failure (RLF) procedures. In some cases, a UE may perform radio link monitoring (RLM) based on reference signals (RS) transmitted using a first set of beams, perform beam failure recovery (BFR) monitoring based on transmissions using a second set of beams, and adjust one or more radio link failure (RLF) parameters based on both the RLM monitoring and the BFR monitoring.
BEAM SENDING METHOD, DEVICE, BASE STATION, TERMINAL AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A beam sending method, a device, a base station, a terminal and a storage medium are provided. The method includes: sending a first part of SSB beams of a first cell or not sending SSB beams of a first cell; when a set condition is met, or when set time information and/or frequency domain information are met, activating and/or sending the SSB beams of the first cell; the activated and/or sent SSB beams are part or all of other SSB beams if the SSB beams are sent, or all or part of the SSB beams of the first cell if the SSB beams are not sent; where the SSB beams of the first cell are divided into at least two parts; the set time information and/or frequency domain information are configured by a network in advance through a signaling.
Terminal device, base station apparatus, communication method, and integrated circuit
A terminal device transmits a RI for PDSCH transmission, receives first information used for determining a first maximum value of layers, the first maximum value being assumed for determining a bit width for the RI, and receives a transport block on a PDSCH, and decodes a code block of the transport block. Here, rate matching for the code block is performed based on the first information used for determining the first maximum value of the layer.
TECHNIQUES OF CSI FEEDBACK WITH UNEQUAL ERROR PROTECTION MESSAGES
In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE. The UE determines a plurality of messages containing channel state information to be reported to a base station. The UE also determines a priority level for each of the plurality of messages based on at least one predetermined rule. The UE further selects one or more messages from the plurality of messages based on priority levels of the plurality of messages. The UE then sends the selected one or more messages to the base station.
