ANTENNA PANEL MANAGEMENT METHOD, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEM
An antenna panel management method, an apparatus, and a system, implement management of a plurality of antenna panels, and reduce power consumption of a terminal device. In this solution, a terminal device switches a state of a first antenna panel from a first state to a second state. The terminal device includes a plurality of antenna panels. The plurality of antenna panels may support one or more of an activated state, a semi-activated state, or a deactivated state, and the first antenna panel is one or more of the plurality of antenna panels.
SIGNALING FOR MULTI-PANEL UE ACTIVATION
The present disclosure provides signaling for multi-panel user equipment (MPUE) activation. The MPUE may have at least an active first panel and an inactive second panel. The MPUE may determine to activate the second panel. The MPUE may activate the second panel in response to the determination. The MPUE may transmit, from the active first panel to a base station, a status indicating that the second panel is active. The MPUE may transmit, after an activation time, an uplink transmission from the second panel to the base station.
METHOD AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING TRANSMISSION POWER FOR MULTI-BEAM TRANSMISSION
A mobile electronic device may be configured to identify multiple beams is provided. The mobile electronic device includes a first beam and a second beam for communication with at least one base station, when the first beam and the second beam correspond to the same first direction, identify a third beam which corresponds to a direction differing from the first direction and has a strength of a signal received from the at least one base station, the strength being equal to or greater than a designated value, when the identification of the third beam fails, apply, to the first beam and the second beam, a power back-off for multiple beams corresponding to the same direction, so as to perform communication with the at least one base station, and when the third beam is identified, change the second beam to the third beam and perform communication with the at least one base station without applying the power back-off for multiple beams corresponding to the same direction and by using the first beam and the third beam.
TECHNIQUES FOR THROUGHPUT-CONSTRAINED BEAM MANAGEMENT
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may estimate, for each beam at one or more beam levels on one or more antenna panels, an application layer throughput based at least in part on a reference signal received power measurement, wherein the one or more beam levels are each associated with a number of antenna elements. The UE may generate a set of candidate beams that includes, at each of the one or more beam levels, one or more beams for which the respective estimated application layer throughput satisfies an application layer throughput requirement. The UE may select, from the set of candidate beams, a serving beam for which the estimated application layer throughput satisfies the application layer throughput requirement with a fewest number of antenna elements. Numerous other aspects are described.
DATA MULTIPLEXING TRANSMISSION METHOD, BASE STATION, TERMINAL, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
Disclosed are a data multiplexing transmission method, a base station, a terminal, and a storage medium. The method comprises: a base station sends service resource occupation information corresponding to a first terminal by means of a control channel, so that a second terminal performs data transmission processing on the basis of the service resource occupation information when detecting the service resource occupation information sent on the control channel. The method, base station, terminal, and storage medium provided by the present application provide a resource multiplexing solution, solve the problem of service resource conflicts between different users, and improve the utilization efficiency of uplink transmission resources.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR EVENT-BASED UPLINK TRANSMIT BEAM SWITCH
A method for operating a user equipment comprises receiving configuration information including information on a beam indication indicating N uplink (UL) transmit beams, where N>1; receiving the beam indication; determining whether an event is detected; selecting a beam from the N UL transmit beams based on whether the event is detected or not; and transmitting an UL transmission using the selected beam, wherein the beam refers to a spatial property used to receive or transmit a source reference signal (RS).
ANTENNA PANEL SELECTION FOR UPLINK TRANSMISSION UNDER A MAXIMUM PERMISSIBLE EXPOSURE (MPE) LIMIT
Aspects relate to beam management reports that enable selection of best antenna panel and beam combinations for uplink transmissions from a user equipment (UE) when one or more antenna panels of the UE are subject to a maximum permissible exposure (MPE) limit. The UE receives a reference signal at a plurality of antenna panels, wherein the reference signal is received in different beams on each of the plurality of antenna panels. The UE determines N beams providing highest measured strengths of the reference signal on at least one of the plurality of antenna panels, wherein the MPE limit is to be applied to the at least one of the plurality of antenna panels for uplink transmissions. The UE transmits a beam management report including reduced highest measured strengths of the reference signal in the N beams to account for the MPE limit.
DATA TRANSMISSION METHOD AND APPARATUS
Disclosed are a data transmission method and apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by a terminal, a media access control (MAC) signaling sent by a base station; receiving, by the terminal, downlink control information (DCI) sent by the base station; searching for a preset mapping relationship by the terminal; determining, by the terminal, a target beam used by the target antenna panel to transmit data according to the target beam indication information corresponding to the target antenna panel; and transmitting data by the terminal with the base station via the target beam corresponding to the target antenna panel.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CHANNEL DETECTION, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A method for channel detection is performed by a wireless communication device including n antenna panels, wherein n is an integer greater than or equal to 2. The method includes: obtaining channel detection control information of each of k antenna panels among the n antenna panels; and respectively controlling the k antenna panels to perform the channel detection through the channel detection control information of each of the k antenna panels.
ANTENNA PANEL STATUS INDICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
This application provides example antenna panel status indication methods and apparatuses. One example method includes sending first antenna panel status information, where the first antenna panel status information indicates a status of at least one antenna panel. Response information of the first antenna panel status information can then be received. It can then be determined, based on the response information, that the status of the at least one antenna panel takes effect.
