Loudspeaker unit
A loudspeaker unit for producing sound at bass frequencies an array of two or more diaphragms. The first radiating surface and the second radiating surface are located on opposite faces of the diaphragm, and one or more of the diaphragms are included in a first subset of the diaphragms and one or more of the diaphragms are included in a second subset of the diaphragms; a plurality of drive units.
Loudspeaker enclosures and loudspeaker devices
Loudspeaker enclosures and loudspeaker devices are provided. In some embodiments, a loudspeaker device is provided, the loudspeaker device comprising: a loudspeaker enclosure, comprising: a rear side; and a front side of the loudspeaker enclosure comprising: a lower portion of the front side comprising a first opening for receiving a first loudspeaker and a second opening for receiving a second loudspeaker; and an upper portion of the front side comprising a third opening for receiving a third loudspeaker, a first port, and a second port, wherein a distance from the lower portion of the front side to the rear side is greater than a distance from the upper portion of the front side to the rear side; the first loudspeaker positioned in the first opening; the second loudspeaker positioned in the second opening; and the third loudspeaker positioned in the third opening.
Speaker with multiple resonators
Aspects of the subject technology relate to electronic devices having speakers with resonators, such as Helmholtz resonators, acoustically coupled to the front volume of the speaker. A speaker module for an electronic device may include multiple resonators, including a first resonator that is acoustically separate from, and at least partially disposed within a second resonator. An acoustic barrier between the first resonator and the second resonator may have a liquid resistance that is different from a liquid resistance that is provided between the first resonator and a back volume of the speaker module and/or between an external environment of the speaker. In one or more implementations, a third resonator may be provided, that is spatially separated from first and second nested and/or adjacent resonators.
DYNAMIC VALVE FOR AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A portable electronic device comprising: an enclosure having an enclosure wall that forms an interior chamber and a sound output port to an ambient environment; a transducer positioned within the interior chamber and dividing the interior chamber into a front volume chamber coupling a first side of the transducer to the sound output port and a back volume chamber coupled to a second side of the transducer; and an electromechanical valve comprising a number of flaps operable to open and close a vent to the interior chamber, the front volume chamber or the back volume chamber.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A PARTITIONED ANTENNA AT A VENT FORMED IN A BOTTOM METAL CHASSIS
An information handling system to wirelessly transmit and receive data at an antenna may include a processor; a memory; a power management unit; a bottom metal chassis of a base housing containing components of the information handling system; a vent formed into the bottom metal chassis; a slot formed between the vent and a terminal edge of the bottom metal chassis; and an antenna located within the bottom metal chassis and behind the vent to, upon execution of the processor, create radiating radio frequency (RF) bands along an edge of the vent.
HIGH PERFORMANCE LOUDSPEAKER ASSEMBLY
This disclosure is related to a speaker assembly having a design configured to output the higher performance of a larger speaker, while maintaining the dimensions (e.g., speaker opening) of a traditional small speaker. The speaker assembly includes a plurality of low frequency drivers transversely installed to each other and arranged orthogonal to a separate high frequency driver.
Earphone Port
A port tube for an earphone, wherein the port tube is configured to acoustically couple a rear acoustic cavity of the earphone to an external environment, includes a first section that is proximate the rear cavity and defines a first cross-sectional area, a second, transitional, section that is coupled to the first section and defines a gradually increasing cross-sectional area, a third, curved and banked, section that is coupled to the second section and defines a second cross-sectional area that is greater than the first cross-sectional area, a fourth, transitional, section that is coupled to the third section and defines a gradually decreasing cross-sectional area, and a fifth section that is coupled to the fourth section and defines a third cross-sectional area that it less than the second cross-sectional area.
LOUDSPEAKER
A loudspeaker configured to be mounted in a seat assembly is disclosed. The loudspeaker includes: a diaphragm having a first radiating surface and a second radiating surface, wherein the first radiating surface and the second radiating surface are located on opposite faces of the diaphragm; a drive unit configured to move the diaphragm based on an electrical signal; a loudspeaker support structure, wherein the diaphragm is suspended from the loudspeaker support structure via one or more loudspeaker suspension elements.
SMART HEAD-MOUNTED DEVICE
Disclosed is a smart head-mounted device, and the smart head-mounted device comprises at least one lens and at least one arm, the arm is connected to the lens and has a cavity therein; further comprises a sound production apparatus provided inside the cavity and dividing the cavity into a front acoustic cavity and a back acoustic cavity; a sound outlet and a main sound leakage hole provided on the arm, the sound outlet is in communication with the front acoustic cavity, and the main sound leakage hole is in communication with the back acoustic cavity.
