SLEEP APNEA TREATMENT APPARATUS AND METHOD
A sleep apnea treatment apparatus including a stimulation device that applies a stimulation to a subject, and a controller including circuitry which receives sounds produced by the subject, converts the sounds to received sound signals, obtains snoring sound information from the received sound signals, calculates an impact of snoring sound produced by the subject based on the snoring sound information, and causes the stimulation device to apply the stimulation to the subject when the impact is higher than a threshold.
Electroacoustic Transducer and Acoustic Resistor
An electroacoustic transducer includes a driver, a diaphragm 13 driven to vibrate by the driver and emitting sound, a baffle 22 holding the driver and the diaphragm 13, first openings 25 extending through the baffle 22, an acoustic resistor 23 disposed on the back side of the baffle 22, and second openings 26 extending from the front side to the back side of the acoustic resistor 23. The baffle 22 is provided on the back side of the diaphragm 13. The first openings 25 are provided in the baffle 22. The second openings 26 are each disposed above one of the first openings 25 in the acoustic resistor 23. The electroacoustic transducer exhibits an excellent frequency response even if a sufficient volume of a space is not provided on the back side of the diaphragm 13.
HEADPHONES WITH FREQUENCY-BASED DIVISIONS
The present invention is directed to a headphone device including zones to separate different frequency ranges for enhancing and improving sound quality. The headphone device includes more than one cavities and second auxiliary holes. The second auxiliary holes are configured for most bass or low-frequency to enter a second cavity through the second auxiliary holes and to have a better frequency division effect and to improve the audio quality of the headphone device.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SUPPRESSING SOUND LEAKAGE
A speaker comprises a housing, a transducer residing inside the housing, and at least one sound guiding hole located on the housing. The transducer generates vibrations. The vibrations produce a sound wave inside the housing and cause a leaked sound wave spreading outside the housing from a portion of the housing. The at least one sound guiding hole guides the sound wave inside the housing through the at least one sound guiding hole to an outside of the housing. The guided sound wave interferes with the leaked sound wave in a target region. The interference at a specific frequency relates to a distance between the at least one sound guiding hole and the portion of the housing.
PRESSURE EQUALIZATION IN EARPHONES
An earphone includes an acoustic transducer and a housing that includes a first acoustic chamber acoustically coupled to a first side of the acoustic transducer and a second acoustical chamber acoustically coupled to a second side of the acoustic transducer. The housing further includes a port acoustically coupling the first acoustic chamber and the second acoustic chamber. Acoustic resistive material is positioned proximate the port.
Bass reflex port and acoustic device
An acoustic device includes an enclosure and a bass reflex port that includes a tube body. An inner wall surface of the tube body includes multiple regions in which viscous resistances in a tube axis direction of moving air and the inner wall surface are different. The multiple regions are provided along a circumferential direction of the inner wall surface. The tube body is attached to an opening area in the enclosure.
ACOUSTIC PORT FOR A PLAYBACK DEVICE
A playback device includes a housing defining an acoustic volume therein, one or more audio transducers disposed at least partially within the housing, and an acoustic port extending through the housing. The acoustic port includes a wall defining a first aperture, a second aperture, and a passageway extending therebetween. The wall is at least partially curved along an axial direction, and a plurality of vanes coupled to the wall extend into the passageway such that the vanes define a plurality of channels extending axially within the passageway.
EARPHONE BODY WITH TUNED VENTS
An earphone body includes an internal chamber, a transducer housed in the internal chamber, a first tuned vent and a second tuned vent. The transducer has a front surface facing a direction of insertion of the earphone body in use and a rear surface 6B. The internal chamber provides a proximal acoustic volume adjacent the front surface of the transducer and a distal acoustic volume adjacent the rear surface of the transducer. The first tuned vent and the second tuned vent each extend between the distal acoustic volume and the ambient environment and are adapted to provide fluid communication between the distal acoustic volume and the ambient environment. The first tuned vent is tuned to a first frequency and the second tuned vent is tuned to a second frequency, the first frequency being lower than the second frequency.
Microspeaker Module having Duct Communicating with Vent Hole
Provided is a microspeaker module having a duct communicating with a back volume vent hole. The microspeaker module includes a case, a microspeaker, and a circuit part and is mounted in a multimedia device to generate sound. The microspeaker includes a back volume communicating with a rear of the microspeaker and defined by the case, a vent hole formed in the case and configured to allow air to flow into and out of the back volume, and a duct connected to the vent hole to increase a path of air flowing to the vent hole.
Speaker module
The present invention discloses a speaker module, comprising a housing and a speaker unit located in an inner cavity of the housing and dividing the inner cavity into a front acoustic cavity and a rear acoustic cavity separated from each other, wherein the housing is additionally provided with a pressure relief device configured to communicate the rear acoustic cavity with an external environment and implement an acoustic seal, the pressure relief device comprises a pressure relief hole extending through a thickness direction of the housing and provided with a gland on one side close to the rear acoustic cavity, and a pressure relief groove is disposed at a surface of the gland close to the pressure relief hole, one end of the pressure relief groove is connected with the pressure relief hole, the other end of the pressure relief groove is led out of an end of the gland, and the pressure relief groove and the pressure relief hole together make up a pressure relief passage of the rear acoustic cavity. The pressure relief grooves of the pressure relief devices of the speaker modules are arranged on the gland, which makes processing easier and can effectively improve the yield of the speaker module.
