CERVICAL SPINE SPACER
A cervical spine spacer includes a spacer body configured to be disposed between adjacent cervical vertebrae in the cervical spine and to maintain a desired spacing between the adjacent cervical vertebrae. The cervical spine spacer also includes a channel passing completely through the spacer body from a first surface of the spacer body to a second surface of the spacer body and a fastener configured to pass through the channel. At least one of the first surface and the second surface is configured to contact one of the adjacent cervical vertebrae and the channel is sized to accommodate the fastener passing through the channel at a plurality of angles.
Spinal Implant With Fluid Delivery Capabilities
A spinal implant that allows for fluid injection of material is disclosed. The implant includes a fitting with a passage and holes that are in fluid communication with the passage. The holes extend through upper and lower surfaces and/or into a central cavity of the implant. The implant allows for material to be introduced into the implant after initial implantation thereof. Methods of implanting the implant are also disclosed.
INTERBODY FUSION DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS
According to some embodiments, a method of inserting a lateral implant within an intervertebral space defined between an upper vertebral member and a lower vertebral member includes creating a lateral passage through a subject in order to provide minimally invasive access to the intervertebral space, at least partially clearing out native tissue of the subject within and/or near the intervertebral space, positioning a base plate within the intervertebral space, wherein the base plate comprise an upper base plate and a lower base plate and advancing an implant between the upper base plate and the lower base plate so that the implant is urged into the intervertebral space and the upper vertebral member is distracted relative to the lower vertebral member.
Intervertebral implant
An intervertebral implant includes a three-dimensional body and a securing plate. The three-dimensional body includes a front surface and a rear surface. The three-dimensional body further includes a plurality of boreholes for accommodating fixation elements. The intervertebral implant also includes a front plate disposed at the front surface of the three-dimensional body and has a plurality of boreholes. A securing plate can be fastened to the front plate.
Bone trabecular fusion cage
A bone trabecular fusion cage for implanting into an intervertebral disc is disclosed. The fusion cage includes a bone trabecular housing made of titanium alloy powder material with trabecular housing accommodation space therein. A side wall of the bone trabecular housing is provided with a plurality of pores, and sclerotin can grow into the bone trabecular housing through the pores to securely fix the bone trabecular fusion cage in the intervertebral disc; and a liner made of polyether-ether-ketone material and fixed in the accommodating space of the bone trabecular housing, wherein the polyether-ether-ketone liner gpores can provide good elastic modulus of bone. With the product of the present disclosure, bone implantation is not required, the patient recovers fast, and excellent fusion effect can be obtained.
DEFORMABLE FASTENER SYSTEM
The guidance and positioning device may be a system for creating a passage in tissue, positioning fasteners or other implants, and tensioning an elongated fastening member, like a suture, thread, wire, or pin. In some embodiments, the device may allow for the implantation of multiple sutures and fasteners in tissue. A fastener may be positioned at the distal end of a flexible pushrod. The fastener may be connected with the pushrod or may be loosely fitted with the distal end of the pushrod. A suture may be looped through or connected with the fastener such that one, two, or more sections, legs, strands, or portions of the suture extend from the fastener.
INTERVERTEBRAL IMPLANTS AND RELATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Disclosed are intervertebral devices for insertion between and/or adjacent to vertebrae of a patient, incorporating apertures for fastening devices which include fastener locking and/or retaining elements.
Intervertebral prosthesis or disk prosthesis
An intervertebral prosthesis or disk prosthesis comprising a front side, a rear side, an upper side which can be placed on the base plate of vertebral body, a lower side which can be placed on the base plate of a vertebral body, a right side, a left side, a cavity which can receive a fluid hydraulic osteocementum, an opening in the cavity and several outlets out from the cavity. The total of the transversal surfaces of the outlets S.sub.V on the front side, the total of the transversal surfaces of the outlets S.sub.H on the rear side, the total of the transversal surfaces of the outlets S.sub.R on the right side and the total of the transversal surfaces of the outlets on the left side satisfy the following conditions: S.sub.L>S.sub.R or S.sub.R>S.sub.L or S.sub.H>S.sub.V or S.sub.V>S.sub.H.
Prosthetic device
A prosthetic device for replacing at least part of one vertebral body, the prosthetic device being expandable from a fully collapsed state to a fully expanded state and comprising an upper endplate, a lower endplate and an expandable support structure extending between the two endplates, said expandable support structure being configured to displace the two endplates relative to one another along a longitudinal axis of the prosthetic device and to hold the two endplates at a minimum axial distance that corresponds to the height of at least one intervertebral disc and half a vertebral body, wherein the expandable support structure includes an anterior post and a posterior post, wherein the length (L1/L2) of each post is individually adjustable and is lockable independently from one another to hold the two endplates with an inclination of 0 to 40 relative to each other.
Expandable vertebral body replacement device and method
An expandable vertebral body device, system, instrument, and methods of assembly and using the device, system, and instrument are disclosed. The vertebral body device includes a body with a first end and a second end, a first rotating member rotatably coupled to the first end, a second rotating member rotatably coupled to the second end, a first extension member moveably coupled to the first end, and a second extension member moveably coupled to the second end.
