Method of producing elastic garments with zippers
It is disclosed a method for producing garments comprising separable portions and at least a zipper sewn onto said separable portions of the garment, wherein said garment undergoes shrinkage, preferably by washing, showing a wavy appearance near the zipper before shrinkage and showing a substantially plane appearance after shrinkage. Said method comprising the steps of providing an elastically stretchable zipper, said zipper in its initial un-stretched condition has the length required for the zipper in the final garment; making a garment having separable portions; stretching said zipper; sewing the stretched zipper onto said separable portions of said garment, and shrinking said garment preferably by washing, wherein after said shrinking step, said zipper is in a substantially un-stretched condition. A garment obtainable according to the steps as above is also disclosed.

A garment obtainable according to the steps as above is also disclosed.
Fastener stringer, slide fastener, and fastener stringer attachment structure
A slide fastener includes a right and left pair of first fastener stringers and second fastener stringer, and a slider. The first fastener stringer and the second fastener stringer each include a fastener tape, a fastener element array, and a restricting unit restricting displacement of right and left cover materials away from each other. The restricting unit is configured to form a space that receives a side periphery of each of the cover materials between the restricting unit and the fastener tape.
Sensing device, closure device comprising said sensing device and method for manufacturing said sensing device
The present invention relates to a sensing device (10) designed for being applied on a first flap (11) and on a second flap (12) of an opening (13) arranged in a wearable item (14). The sensing device (10) comprises: a triggering element (20) arranged on the first flap (11) of the opening (13) and comprising an activating component (23); a switch element (30) arranged on the second flap (12) of the opening (13) and comprising a sensing component (33); the sensing component (33) being designed for emitting an electrical output signal when it is put in a predetermined mutual position with respect to the activating component (23). According to the invention the triggering element (20) is provided with at least one alignment component (22; 22A, 22B) designed for interacting with a corresponding alignment component (32; 32A, 32B) of the switch element (30) so as to autonomously and automatically put in said predetermined mutual position the activating component (23) and the sensing component (33) when the first flap (11) is drawn close to the second flap (12), or viceversa. The invention also relates to a closure device comprising said sensing device (10) and to a method for manufacturing said sensing device (10).
Sensing device, closure device comprising said sensing device and method for manufacturing said sensing device
The present invention relates to a sensing device (10) designed for being applied on a first flap (11) and on a second flap (12) of an opening (13) arranged in a wearable item (14). The sensing device (10) comprises: a triggering element (20) arranged on the first flap (11) of the opening (13) and comprising an activating component (23); a switch element (30) arranged on the second flap (12) of the opening (13) and comprising a sensing component (33); the sensing component (33) being designed for emitting an electrical output signal when it is put in a predetermined mutual position with respect to the activating component (23). According to the invention the triggering element (20) is provided with at least one alignment component (22; 22A, 22B) designed for interacting with a corresponding alignment component (32; 32A, 32B) of the switch element (30) so as to autonomously and automatically put in said predetermined mutual position the activating component (23) and the sensing component (33) when the first flap (11) is drawn close to the second flap (12), or viceversa. The invention also relates to a closure device comprising said sensing device (10) and to a method for manufacturing said sensing device (10).
Magnetic zipper
A magnetic zipper includes a pair of mating strands each having a plurality of spaced teeth formed on an inner edge thereof with mating notches formed therebetween. Positioned within each of the notches on both strands is a magnet having a given polarity. Attached to each tooth on both strands is a magnet having a polarity opposite that of the given polarity. The size or geometric configuration of the teeth and notches successively vary so that the two strands cannot be inadvertently joined when misaligned. Accordingly, when the teeth on one strand are positioned near or in their designated notches on the other, the zipper strands firmly adhere to close a garment opening. To open the zipper, a garment wearer simply pulls the tenuously-held zipper strands apart.
Magnetic zipper
A magnetic zipper includes a pair of mating strands each having a plurality of spaced teeth formed on an inner edge thereof with mating notches formed therebetween. Positioned within each of the notches on both strands is a magnet having a given polarity. Attached to each tooth on both strands is a magnet having a polarity opposite that of the given polarity. The size or geometric configuration of the teeth and notches successively vary so that the two strands cannot be inadvertently joined when misaligned. Accordingly, when the teeth on one strand are positioned near or in their designated notches on the other, the zipper strands firmly adhere to close a garment opening. SLIDE FASTENER WITH BLOCKING ELEMENT
Various implementations include a slide fastener that has a blocking element on one stringer that prevents engagement compatibility with standard elements on the other stringer. For example, at least one blocking element is coupled to a first stringer, and first and second blocking coupling elements are coupled to a second stringer. The contour of the blocking element and the contour of the blocking coupling elements are different from the contour of the standard elements on the stringers such that the standard elements do not engage with the blocking element or the blocking coupling elements in an alternating arrangement. However, the contour of the blocking element and contour of the blocking coupling elements allow for the engagement of the blocking element with the blocking coupling elements in an alternating arrangement.
SLIDE FASTENER WITH BLOCKING ELEMENT
Various implementations include a slide fastener that has a blocking element on one stringer that prevents engagement compatibility with standard elements on the other stringer. For example, at least one blocking element is coupled to a first stringer, and first and second blocking coupling elements are coupled to a second stringer. The contour of the blocking element and the contour of the blocking coupling elements are different from the contour of the standard elements on the stringers such that the standard elements do not engage with the blocking element or the blocking coupling elements in an alternating arrangement. However, the contour of the blocking element and contour of the blocking coupling elements allow for the engagement of the blocking element with the blocking coupling elements in an alternating arrangement.
Slide Fastener
A slide fastener includes first and second stringers, an intermediate body, a first slider, and a second slider. The first and second stringers are separated by a first lateral distance in a first longitudinal portion, the first and second stringers are separated by a second lateral distance in a second longitudinal portion. A transition portion extending along at least a portion of a longitudinal extent of the intermediate body interposes the first and second longitudinal portions, and the second lateral distance is greater than the first lateral distance.
