The garment and accessory attachment attaches to garments or accessories including, but not limited to, clothing, shoes, and athletic bags. garment and accessory attachment incorporates an adornment, message, or logo superimposed onto an interchangeable image tag to remind or reinforce a thought process to encourage specific behavior or focus to improve the user's performance. The image tag is pressed against a clip base of the garment and accessory attachment and secured with a first tag restraint and a second tag restraint of the garment and accessory attachment. The garment and accessory attachment is mounted to a garment or accessory through a clip arm. The clip arm is adjacently connected to the clip base, opposite to the first tag restraint and the second tag restraint.

In relation to a holder, the holder includes a housing to receive and hold the user identification badge and a controller carried by the housing. The holder also includes a proximity identification system carried by the housing to identify one or more objects proximate the holder. The proximity identification system also provides information to the controller regarding the one or more objects that have been identified. The holder further includes an alerting output device carried by the housing and responsive to the controller. The alerting output device provides an alert in response to identification of one or more objects proximate the holder.

A rapid easy to use detachable emblem and method for designating a member of a sports team. The emblem is inscribed with an alpha numeric character that designates the position of the member of the sports team, a backing for retaining the emblem to a garment; and a mechanical closure for interlocking the emblem with the garment and the backing. The method is comprised of placing the emblem against an outer surface of the garment, placing the backing against an inner surface of the garment opposite the emblem and interlocking the emblem with the garment and backing by engaging the members of a two-part mechanical closure. In a second embodiment, multiple mechanical closures are used for attaching the emblem to the garment.

A system and method for attaching design elements to an article of clothing are provided. The system includes an embroidered design element with a conductive layer coupled to a back surface of the embroidered design element. The system further includes a coupling member. In operation, the conductive layer is releasably and magnetically coupled to the coupling member with an article of clothing between the conductive layer and the coupling member.
