COMMUNICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
Embodiments of the present invention relate to the technical field of wireless communications, and provide a communication method and apparatus, for improving a transmission gain of an uplink signal. The method comprises: a terminal device determines, in an uplink resource, at least one first sub-band for transmitting an uplink signal; the terminal device transmits the uplink signal according to the received indication information, sent by a network device, of the uplink signal and the at least one determined first sub-band, wherein the indication information is used for indicating a transmission parameter and/or a transmission antenna of the uplink signal. According to the method, a terminal can determine, on the uplink resource, the first sub-band for transmitting the uplink signal, and the terminal and the network device transmit, according to the indication information of the uplink signal, the uplink signal on the determined first sub-band, so that the transmission gain of the uplink signal is improved.

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for high speed beam management. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving beamformed signals from at least one base station (BS); determining that the UE is in a high mobility state and one or more parameters associated with the high mobility state, based on the received signals; transmitting at least one of the one or more parameters to the at least one BS; and communicating with the at least one BS based on the one or more parameters.

METHOD AND USER EQUIPMENT FOR BEAM GROUP REPORTING IN MOBILE COMMUNICATIONS
A partial sounding method for sounding-reference-signal (SRS) is proposed. The network node may transmit the report configuration to the user equipment (UE). The UE may determine at least one resource group based on the report configuration and report a report comprising the resource group or resource groups to the network node. The report may comprise an indicator to indicate that a first resource index in the report is associated with the first resource set or the second resource set. The network node may know that the first resource index of the report is associated with which resource set based on the indicator in the report.
Control of Transmission from an Antenna Panel
There is provided mechanisms for controlling transmission from an antenna panel. The method is performed by a network apparatus. A method comprises performing time-domain beamformed communication with terminal devices served by the network apparatus using the antenna panel split into N>1 subpanels. Each subpanel has two input ports and is fed, via the input ports, by signals and configured to generate beams by application of antenna element weights to its antenna elements. The subpanels are at least phase-wise synchronized with each other. When one and the same signal is fed into the input ports of all the subpanels, signals as transmitted from the subpanels add up coherently to represent a 1-layer transmission by a time reference being shared between the subpanels. The time-domain beamformed communication is performed by the network apparatus using from 1 to 2N layers per symbol of a transmission time interval according to a mapping between the input ports and the signals as transmitted from the subpanels.
METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR RET CONTROL
Methods and apparatuses for remote electrical tilt (RET) control are disclosed. According to an embodiment, a network entity obtains beam reports indicating beam candidates suitable for serving terminal devices in a serving area of an access network node. The network entity determines a spatial distribution of the beam candidates based on the beam reports. The network entity determines one or more boundaries dividing the beam candidates into a plurality of groups, based on the spatial distribution. The network entity determines control information related to RET for an antenna array of the access network node, based on the one or more boundaries.
Handling of Directional UL LBT Failures
A wireless device (10) sends LBT (listen before talk) based uplink wireless transmissions on a serving transmission beam (22) to an access node (100-1, 100-2). The serving transmission beam (22) is selected from a plurality of transmission beams (21, 22, 23). Further, the wireless device (10) detects LBT failures on the serving transmission beam (22). Based on the number of the detected LBT failures on the serving transmission beam (22), the wireless device (10) sends a failure report to the access node (100-1, 100-2. The failure report indicates the detected LBT failures on the sewing transmission beam (22).
CHANNEL RECIPROCITY-BASED PRECODING MATRIX CONFIGURATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
The present application relates to communication technology. Disclosed are a channel reciprocity-based precoding matrix configuration method and apparatus. The method comprises: in downlink transmission, a network side separately sends, on each antenna port associated with each transmission layer, a CSI-RS subjected to beamforming to a terminal by using beams calculated according to angle information and delay information determined on the basis of uplink channel state information, and determines a precoding matrix for downlink transmission of the terminal according to beams sent on K0 antenna ports selected by the terminal on the basis of the CSI-RS, and a beam combination coefficient set. In this way, both angle information reciprocity and delay information reciprocity between uplink and downlink channels can be used to directly calculate formed beams for transmitting the CSI-RS, without performing SVD calculation for effective channel information of each PMI subband, thereby reducing the calculation complexity of the terminal, reducing the feedback overhead of the terminal, and also improving system performance.
Beam reporting based on detection of a trigger event
An information processing method and apparatus, a terminal, and a communications device are provided. The method includes: determining, based on detection of a reporting trigger event, whether to report an event-based beam report and/or an event-based channel state information (CSI) report to a network-side device.
