Signal communication method and apparatus
Embodiments of this application provide a signal communication method and apparatus. The method includes: sending, by a network device, a channel quality threshold to a terminal device, where the channel quality threshold is used by the terminal device to report first channel quality information, and the channel quality threshold is a threshold of second channel quality information; and receiving, by the network device, a first quantity of pieces of the first channel quality information sent by the terminal device based on the channel quality threshold.

Methods, systems, and devices for reducing channel state information feedback channel overhead by compressing coefficients of precoding vectors and reporting a subset of the compressed coefficients based on several parameters including network-signaled parameters. Some embodiments may be used in wireless communication embodiments in which channel state information from many layers and many frequency domain units need to be reported.
BEAM-SPECIFIC RSSI AND CO FOR NR-U
Wireless communication techniques for utilizing beam-specific RSSI and CO in NR-U wireless communication are discussed. A UE may receive from a base station a first set of one or more RSSI measurement configuration parameters associated with a first reception beam as well as a second set of one or more RSSI measurement configuration parameters associated with a second reception beam. The second reception beam may be different than the first reception beam. The UE may transmit a report including at least one of a first indication of one or more RSSI measurements performed using the first reception beam based, at least in part, on the first set of one or more RSSI measurement configuration parameters or a second indication of one or more other RSSI measurements performed using the second reception beam based, at least in part, on the second set of one or more RSSI measurement configuration parameters.

A beamformee device includes processing circuitry configured to obtain channel information associated with a plurality of subcarriers based on a null data packet (NDP) received through a channel from a beamformer device, measure a variation on a frequency of the channel based on the channel information, determine a grouping size value based on the variation, select one or more first subcarriers among the plurality of subcarriers based on the grouping size value, select first channel information among the channel information based on the one or more first subcarriers, generate a beamforming feedback report based on the first channel information, and transmit the beamforming feedback report to the beamformer device.
CONFIGURATION OF INTERMEDIATE SET SIZE FOR FREQUENCY DOMAIN BASIS REPORTING
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for channel state information (CSI) reporting with frequency domain (FD) compression. A method that can be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes determining the size of the intermediate set based on one or more parameters included in the CSI report configuration, determining one or more FD bases for each layer based on the intermediate set, wherein the one or more FD bases are characterized by an M value indicative of a number of the one or more FD bases and based on the CSI report configuration, and reporting the one or more FD bases for each layer based on the size of the intermediate set.
METHOD FOR SENDING CHANNEL STATE INFORMATION AND RELATED DEVICE
This application provides a method for sending channel state information and a related device. The method includes: receiving L reference signals, where L is a positive integer greater than or equal to 1; and sending channel state information, where the channel state information includes resource indexes of M reference signals in the L reference signals, K pieces of antenna panel state information, and M sets of channel quality information, where the K pieces of antenna panel state information indicate states of antenna panels; the K pieces of antenna panel state information are related to M sets of channel quality information; and the M sets of channel quality information are in a one-to-one correspondence with the resource indexes of the M reference signals. In this way, implementation complexity of obtaining the channel quality information by the network device can be reduced, and load of the network device can be reduced.
MULTIDIMENSIONAL BEAM REFINEMENT PROCEDURES AND SIGNALING FOR MMWAVE WLANS
Systems and methods for multidimensional beam refinement procedures and signaling for millimeter wave WLANs. In some embodiments, there are multi-dimensional enhanced beam refinement protocol MAC and PHY frame designs that extend the MAC packet and the PPDU format with or without backwards compatibility. The multiple dimensions may be supported jointly or separately. In other embodiments, the increased data signaled in the eBRP frame designs may be more efficiently signaled with reduced BRP frame sizes, such as through a training type dependent BRP minimum duration selection procedure or use of null data packet BRP frames. In further embodiments, the maximum duration of the interframe spacing between BPR packets may be varied to improve the efficiency of BRP operation.
METHOD FOR REPORTING CHANNEL STATE INFORMATION IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR THE SAME
A method of reporting, by a user equipment (UE), channel state information (CSI) in a wireless communication system, includes: receiving, by the UE and from a base station (BS), downlink control information (DCI) related to an aperiodic CSI report that is to be performed by the UE in a slot n; determining, by the UE, a value n.sub.CQI_ref based on a number of symbols Z′ related to a time for computing the CSI; determining, by the UE, a CSI reference resource as being a slot n−n.sub.CQI_ref in a time domain that is to be used for the aperiodic CSI report; and transmitting, by the UE and to the BS, the aperiodic CSI report in the slot n, based on the CSI reference resource being slot n−n.sub.CQI_ref. The CSI may be calculated by using the most recent A CSI-RS, and thereby the most recent CSI may be reported.
Channel state information reporting method and communications apparatus
The application provides method for communicating channel state information (CSI) in a communication network. The method is as follows: An apparatus determines whether a length of CSI is less than a preset length; and adds a padding bit to the CSI when determining that the length of the CSI is less than the preset length, where a length of CSI obtained by adding the padding bit is consistent with the predetermined length. The CSI obtained by adding the padding bit is communicated in the communication network.
Activation and deactivation of semi-persistent CSI reporting
Systems and methods for validating a control message for activation or deactivation of Semi-Persistent Channel State Information (SP-CSI) reporting in a wireless communication system are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device for validating a control message for activation or deactivation of SP-CSI reporting in a wireless communication system comprises receiving, from a network node, a control message for activation or deactivation of the SP-CSI reporting. The method further comprises making, based on the control message, a determination as to whether to activate the SP-CSI reporting or to deactivate the SP-CSI reporting and activating or deactivating the SP-CSI reporting in accordance with the determination. In this manner, the wireless device is enabled to distinguish between a control message activating SP-SCI reporting and a control message deactivating SP-SCI reporting.
