BRAIDED MEDICAL DEVICES
A braided vaso-occlusive member formed out of first plurality of filaments interwoven with a second plurality of filaments, wherein filaments of the first plurality are helically wound in a first rotational direction along an elongate axis of the braided member, and filaments of the second plurality are wound in a second rotational direction opposite the first rotational direction, such that filaments of the first plurality cross over and/or under filaments of the second plurality at each of a plurality cross-over locations axially spaced along the elongate axis of the braided member, wherein at each cross-over location, the filaments of the first plurality cross over at least two consecutive filaments of the second plurality, then cross under only a single filament of the second plurality, and then cross over at least two additional consecutive filaments of the second plurality.
PROTUBERANT ANEURYSM BRIDGING DEVICE DEPLOYMENT METHOD
An aneurysm bridging device can be placed in the neurovasculature of a patient by advancing the aneurysm bridging device in a small-diameter configuration a delivery catheter to a target region within the neurovasculature and securing the distal region of the aneurysm bridging device to the neurovasculature. While the distal region of the aneurysm bridging device is secured to the neurovasculature, the proximal region of the aneurysm bridging device can be advanced to permit the aneurysm bridging device to expand from the small-diameter configuration and to deform and twist in a central region of the aneurysm bridging device. The proximal region of the aneurysm bridging device can be secured within the neurovasculature to maintain the central region of the aneurysm bridging device in a deformed state.
SELF-SEALING TUBULAR GRAFTS, PATCHES, AND METHODS FOR MAKING AND USING THEM
A self-sealing tubular graft is provided for implantation within a patient's body that includes an elongate tubular body including first and second self-sealing cannulation regions and a loop region extending between the first and second cannulation regions. The loop region includes one or more reinforcement members attached to a first length of the loop region and extending at least partially around a circumference of the tubular body. For example, the reinforcement members may include one or more sinusoidal or zigzag members extending along the first length with alternating peaks and valleys extending at least partially around a circumference of the tubular body. Self-sealing patches are also provided that include one or more reinforcement members embedded within base material.

Stent for connecting adjacent tissues and manufacturing method thereof
The present invention relates to a connection stent and a method of manufacturing the stent. The connection stent includes: a body configured to form a plurality of cells through the intersection of wires, and provided in a hollow cylindrical shape; an upper head formed to extend from one end of the body to have a diameter larger than that of the body; and a lower head formed to extend from a remaining end of the body to have a diameter larger than that of the body. The upper head and the lower head are respectively placed to come into contact with insides of heterogeneous tissues. Accordingly, according to the present invention, there can be manufactured a stent which can connect heterogeneous tissues and form a bypass and which can provide sufficient expansion force and minimum axial force for the maintenance of the bypass formed as described above.
STENT WITH SHAPED WIRES
Stents generally can include a tubular structure having circumferentially positioned undulating wires that extend over a majority of a length of the stent such that the undulations oscillate circumferentially to define a circumference of the stent. The undulations can wrap over and under adjacent undulations to form an interwoven structure. Additionally, or alternatively, adjacent wires can be joined. Wires forming the stent can be cut from elastic tubing such that each wire has a three-dimensional shape.

Stent and catheter-stent system
The stent has an expansive force 0.05 N/mm or less per unit length when it has a diameter equal to the lower limit diameter of the target blood vessel and is measured under the following conditions. A radial force testing system manufactured by Blockwise Engineering LLC is used as a tester. The test conditions include a temperature of 37 C.2 C. in the chamber of the tester; a stent diameter of 0.5 mm for start of test, and a rate of increase of diameter of 0.5 mm/s in the tester. The test method includes radially compressing the stent disposed in the chamber; recording an expansive force while gradually increasing the diameter of the chamber at the rate of increase of diameter; and dividing the expansive force by the effective length of the stent to calculate an expansive force per unit length.
IMPLANTABLE STENT
Implantable stents that include strips that are each comprised of main struts connected by first connectors, and adjacent strips are connected by second connectors. The strut connectors have a structure, including areas of expanded or reduced width or thickness, to account for venous applications. When used for venous applications, the stents convey benefit from configurations that improve flexibility (due to the greater elasticity of venous applications) while maintaining enough stiffness to resist pressure on the venous structure in selected areas (such as for the May-Thurner syndrome). The stents include particular structural characteristics that are particularly advantageous for (although not limited to) venous applications.
SECURED STRAND END DEVICES
Methods for securing strand ends of devices configured for insertion into an anatomical structure, and the resulting devices.
