DELIVERY BALLOON WITH RETRACTABLE RETENTION CUFFS
A balloon system for delivery of a device. The balloon system includes a balloon including: an elongated central portion including a proximal tapered cone and a distal tapered cone, the elongated central portion and the proximal and distal tapered cones being in an uninflated state; a proximal receiving trench adjacent the proximal tapered cone and a distal receiving trench adjacent the distal tapered cone, and a distal backstop adjacent the distal receiving trench, the distal receiving trench being defined by the distal backstop and the distal tapered cone; and a proximal retractable cuff disposed over the proximal receiving trench and the proximal tapered cone and a distal retractable cuff disposed over the distal receiving trench and the distal tapered cone.
DELIVERY SYSTEMS FOR PROSTHETIC HEART VALVE
Described herein are systems and methods from delivering prosthetic devices, such as prosthetic heart valves, through the body and into the heart for implantation therein. The prosthetic devices delivered with the delivery systems disclosed herein are, for example, radially expandable from a radially compressed state mounted on the delivery system to a radially expanded state for implantation using an inflatable balloon of the delivery system. Exemplary delivery routes through the body and into the heart include transfemoral routes, transapical routes, and transaortic routes, among others.

Implant capsule and implant delivery system
An implant capsule (10) and an implant delivery system are disclosed. The implant capsule (10) includes, sequentially from a proximal end to a distal end, a flexural section (102, 102a-102e), a reinforcement section (101, 101a-101e) and a radiopaque reinforcement ring (104a-104e). The reinforcement section (101, 101a-101e) has higher strength than the flexural section (102, 102a-102e). The implant delivery system includes the implant capsule (10). The implant capsule (10) can ensure the implant to be deployed in a coaxial condition and prevent over-expansion due to large expansion forces exerted by a stent of the implant.
Devices and methods for delivery and deployment of balloon expandable transcatheter valves
Balloon catheters for delivery of prosthetic hear valves is provided. The balloon catheters are configured to deploy a prosthetic heart valve through inflation. The balloon catheters are further configured with one or more retention bumpers to reduce or prevent migration of the prosthetic heart valve during delivery. Balloon catheters described herein are configured with substantially incompressible retention bumpers that promote longitudinal inflation fluid flow.
DELIVERY SYSTEMS FOR PROSTHETIC HEART VALVE
A delivery apparatus for a prosthetic heart valve includes a shaft, an inner balloon, and an outer balloon. The shaft has a lumen extending from a proximal end portion to a distal end portion and a plurality of openings formed in the distal end portion. The shaft is configured such that a fluid can flow through the lumen and the openings. The inner balloon has end portions and a center portion disposed between the end portions. The inner balloon is mounted on the distal end portion of the shaft and is in fluid communication with the openings of the shaft. When the inner balloon is inflated with the fluid, the end portions expand farther radially outwardly than the center portion. The outer balloon is mounted to the shaft and disposed over the inner balloon. The outer balloon is configured to fully expand after the inner balloon at least partially expands.

METHODS FOR IMPROVING STENT RETENTION ON A BALLOON CATHETER
A method of crimping a stent on a balloon of a catheter assembly is provided. A polymeric stent is disposed over a balloon in an inflated configuration. The stent is crimped over the inflated balloon to a reduced crimped configuration so that the stent is secured onto the balloon. The balloon wall membrane is wedged or pinched between the strut elements of the stent for increasing the retention of the stent on the balloon.
