JEWELRY DEVICE
A jewelry apparatus can include a base member having a hippocrepiform configuration, the base member having a first prong and a second prong. The jewelry apparatus can include a coupling member operably configured for attachment to the base member. The coupling member can include a disk member having a first side and a second side, the first side having a first set of indicia depicting a first partial portion of a word, the second side having a second set of indicia depicting a second partial portion of the word, a first projection extending from the disk member operably configured for attachment to the first prong and a second projection extending from the disk member operably configured for attachment to the second prong. The coupling member is configured to rotate such that the first set of indicia and the second set of indicia create the visual appearance of the word.
Personal item management apparatus
An embodiment personal item management apparatus includes a wearable band having a fixed circumference that defines a first outer diameter; and a clasp coupled to the wearable band, the clasp having a second outer diameter that is less than the first outer diameter and being adapted to couple a personal item to the wearable band. In an exemplary embodiment, the ratio of the second outer diameter to the first outer diameter is about 0.4.
Band latch mechanism
A band latch mechanism that is configured to connect a wristband to a fitness tracker is provided. The band latch mechanism may be configured to be inserted into a cavity of a housing of the fitness tracker and configured so that any metallic body of the band latch mechanism does not contact metallic surfaces of the cavity in order to prevent an electrical ground from being positioned within a keep-out zone of an antenna of the fitness tracker.
FUNCTIONAL, SOCIALLY-ENABLED JEWELRY AND SYSTEMS FOR MULTI-DEVICE INTERACTION
Functional jewelry is disclosed. A bracelet includes a plurality of light-emitting diodes (LEDs), a main control unit, and positional and situational sensors, typically including an accelerometer, as well as a decorative, interchangeable fascial layer. The bracelet may also include sensors such as capacitive touch sensors, a microphone, and a color sensor. A radio transceiver within the bracelet is adapted to implement a protocol such as BLUETOOTH 4.0, and is adapted to allow the bracelet to communicate in peer-to-peer or master-slave mode. Two users can pair their bracelets in person, usually with a gestural trigger, for shared light displays, multi-player games, and other types of interactions. Larger groups can pair temporarily and contextually for multi-user displays and interactions, in an ad hoc network with distributed functions. Real-world interactions are communicated to a social network with profiles linked to the individual bracelets.
Elastic band with embedded label
A method for manufacturing a plurality of labeling bands includes extruding an elastic material, co-extruding a label material with the elastic material, curing the elastic material and the label material, and locating a plurality of demarcations at intervals along the length of the tube to define the plurality of labeling bands. Co-extruding the label material with the elastic material includes forming a tube having an outer surface, an inner surface and a length, so that the label material forms a stripe on the outer surface. In another aspect, an article of manufacture includes an endless band of a first elastic material and a label of a second material embedded into an outer surface of the endless band. The endless band includes the outer surface, an inner surface and first and second opposed perimeter edges, each of the first and second opposed perimeter edges having a common unstretched perimeter dimension.
PERSONALIZED WATCH
Implementations of a personalized watch are provided. In some implementations, the personalized watch comprises a band having a plurality of removable ornamental links.
WAVE PROVIDING ACCESSORY USING SAWTOOTH WAVEFORM
A wave providing accessory using a sawtooth waveform is disclosed. The wave providing accessory using a sawtooth waveform comprises: a stimulus generator for generating a micro current having a wavelength of a sawtooth wave; a first decoration member which is provided in the form of a metal plate or housing, has one surface to which the stimulus generator is fixed, is electrically connected to the stimulus generator so that the micro current generated by the stimulus generator is applied thereto, and has a decorative pattern engraved on one surface of the plate or an outer surface of the housing; and a wearable member which is provided in the form of a metal ring that is wearable on one of a wrist, a neck, and an ankle, is connected to the decoration member to allow the micro current applied to the decoration member to be also applied thereto, and transfers the applied micro current to a human body along with the decoration member.
Fragrance body band
A band is capable of retaining a substrate saturated with a fragrance. A user dons the band around a portion of their body. The band incorporates a plurality of perforations enabling the fragrance emitting from the substrate to permeate an immediate area adjacent the band.
Items of jewelry and a method of producing such items
A method of producing a jewelry item. The method comprises producing an annular or partially annular substrate formed with a plurality of slots extending from its inner periphery towards its outer periphery. A plurality of insert members are produced each formed with a slot and at least two bordered openings one to each side of the slot. The insert members are located in turn into the slots of the annular or partially annular substrate with the slots of the substrate and the insert members inter-engaging whereby each insert member is positioned generally normal to the annular or partially annular substrate. Gemstones are then located between each pair of neighboring insert members above with edges of each gem stone or the like located in the openings formed in the insert members.
