POWER TRANSMITTING DEVICE, MOTION ASSISTANCE APPARATUS, AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE MOTION ASSISTANCE APPARATUS
Provided is a power transmitting device including an input side gear assembly that includes a single power input terminal and two power output terminals, an output side gear assembly that includes two power input terminals and a single power output terminal, the two power input terminals configured to operate using power received from the two power output terminals of the input side gear assembly, respectively, and a stopper module configured to block power to be transmitted through one of two power transmitting paths connecting the two power output terminals of the input side gear assembly and the two power input terminals of the output side gear assembly.
SUPPORT SHELL ARRANGEMENT
A support shell assembly (1) comprises a calf part (2), a foot part (3), and a locking device (5) with a guide rail (52) and with a locking element (51). The locking element (51) is displaceable along the guide rail (52) for setting a bending angle () between calf part (2) and foot part (3). The locking device (5) also comprises a spring element (53) which applies a spring force to the locking element (51) in such a way that displacement along the guide rail (52) is made easier or more difficult. An inlay (7) for a support shell assembly comprises a first chamber (71) and a second chamber (72). By means of a first and second valve device (73, 74), a fluid can be filled into the first chamber or discharged from the second chamber to stiffen the inlay (7) in a respective area.
JOINT FOR AN ORTHOPEDIC DEVICE
A joint for an orthopedic device, wherein the joint comprises a first element, at least one elastic element on a support, which is assembled on the first element, and a second element, which is pivotally assembled on the first element and can be swivelled in a direction between the first element and the second element, starting from a first angle of engagement, against a force applied by the at least one elastic element wherein the support comprises a contact element which rests against the second element upon reaching the first angle of engagement, wherein the contact element can be adjusted when the joint is assembled such that the first angle of engagement and a preload of the elastic element can be adjusted independently of one another.
SELF-TENSIONING AND RELEASABLE GRIPPING GLOVES
A releasable gripping glove is provided having one or more flexible artificial tendons extending through a finger section of a glove body. The flexible artificial tendon is configured to maintain a structurally articulated configuration when the finger section is articulated. Each tendon includes locking teeth that engages with a releasable locking tab extending form a locking mechanism configured to engage the locking teeth when the finger section is articulated. A release mechanism is provided to engage and disengage the locking mechanism. A thumb release rod is positioned within a thumb portion and connected to the release mechanism. The articulating of the finger section releasably locks the flexible artificial tendon in the articulated position, which is releasable through relaxing of the thumb portion.
Orthopedic device
An orthopedic device has first and second elongate struts each having a strap coupling member, and a flexible strap securing to the first and second struts by the strap coupling members. The orthopedic device includes various embodiments of hinge assemblies including flexion and extension stops and locks for maintaining the hinge assembly in a fixed configuration. The orthopedic device has various embodiments of strap assemblies for securing components to cuff assemblies.
Motion assistance apparatus
A motion assistance apparatus including a first frame, a connection frame connected to the first frame, the connection frame configured to rotate relative to the first frame, a second frame connected to the connection frame, the second frame configured to rotate relative to the connection frame, and a power transmission member configured to change, based on a first angle between the first frame and the connection frame, a second angle between the connection frame and the second frame.
Joint for rehabilitation device
A joint for a rehabilitation device and a rehabilitation device are disclosed. The joint is defined for operation between an end of a first member and an end of a second member. The joint enables the second member to pivot at the joint with respect to the first member. The joint includes a positioning mechanism for defining a set position from which the second member pivots. The joint also includes a restriction mechanism for restricting the degree of pivoting of the second member, from the set position. The joint further includes a biasing mechanism for biasing the second member such that it returns to the set position when an opposing force applied to the second member is less than the bias of the biasing mechanism. When the joint is in the set position, the biasing mechanism is configured such that no bias is applied to the second member.
Flexion and extension range limiting hinge for an orthopedic brace
An angle limitation system for an orthopedic brace employs a hinge assembly rotatably receiving an upper strut and a lower strut and having a hinge plate and a hinge assembly cap. An extension angle limit element is removably insertable in an anterior port between the hinge plate and hinge assembly cap. The extension angle limit element has a body with limiting surfaces adapted to engage mating faces indented in the anterior edges of the upper and lower strut. A flexion angle limit element is removably insertable in a posterior port between the hinge plate and hinge assembly cap. The flexion angle limit element has a body with limiting surfaces adapted to engage mating faces indented in the posterior edges of the upper and lower strut. Engagement mechanisms are adapted to releasably secure the flexion angle limit element in the posterior port and the engagement angle limit element in the anterior port.
KNEE-SUPPORTING ASSEMBLY FOR DEGENERATIVE KNEES
A knee-supporting assembly has a supporting device and two belt frames. The supporting device has a securing board assembly, two wheels, a driving axle, an operating member, a transmission assembly, and a pushing member. The wheels are mounted rotatably on the securing board assembly. The driving axle is connected eccentrically with the two wheels. The operating member is connected securely to the driving axle. The transmission assembly is connected with and driven by the driving axle to be reciprocatively moveable relative to the securing board assembly and has a first end connected with the driving axle and a second end. The pushing member is connected with the second end of the transmission assembly. The belt frames are connected respectively with two ends of the securing board assembly.
