Methods and apparatus for collecting body fluids
Methods and apparatus for collecting fluids discharged from a urethra. An apparatus can include a housing with a rear and front portion a coupled together. A baseplate, inside the housing, includes an angled circumferential side surface adjacent to an inside surface of the housing, a main aperture, and a valve aperture extending through the baseplate. A discharge tube is coupled to the baseplate. An elastomeric tube extends from outside the housing to a termination point past the baseplate within the housing, the baseplate and the housing configured such that the collection tube is pinched and held in place between the baseplate angled circumferential side surface and an inside surface of the vented housing. One-way valves positioned in each valve aperture communicate air through the baseplate into the collection tube. A urethra tube, configured for collecting discharged urine, is positioned in a proximal end of the collection tube.
SINGLE-USE EXPANDABLE LIQUID CONTAINER AND BLANK
The present invention relates to a single-use container (200) manufactured from sheet material, the single-use container comprising: a base (206), wherein the base is flat and forms a surface on which the single-use container can stand,a front wall (201), a right wall (202), a left wall (203) and a rear wall (204) which extend upward from the base, wherein the front wall and the rear wall are convex, and wherein the right wall and left wall are concave, an upper end (207) which connects the front wall, right wall, left wall and rear wall.
PORTABLE FEMALE URINAL
A collector has a bottom and an open top and a peripheral wall. The collector has an outlet opening. The bottom and the peripheral wall form a chamber. The chamber has a front and rear and sides and a peripheral edge adjacent to the open top. The peripheral edge is positionable inter-labially between the labia majora to cover a user's genitalia including the user's vulvar vestibule and urethral orifice/meatus, with the chamber front posterior to the user's clitoris and with the chamber rear overlying soft tissue in proximity to the labia majora and vagina. The collector is held in place during use solely by the fingers of the user adhesive free and insert free.
Disposable urinary device
A personal urinary device for a female has a straight, round tube of biodegradable material, having one end exhibiting an angle with a plane perpendicular to an axis of the tube, a lip having a diameter larger than the outside diameter of the tube, on the outside of the tube at a first distance from an end opposite the angled end, and a rounded element at the end opposite the angled end.
Catheter collection and drainage device and system
A urine collection and drainage device and system adapted to facilitate drainage for patients to that prefer to stay standing during drainage and avoid removal of clothing near the collection bag. A collection vessel is designed to be secured to a user's waist and leg and allows for quick drainage with low initial compression. Drainage can also be accomplished for handicapped patients that have challenges getting out of bed or a wheelchair.
COLLAPSIBLE CONTINGENCY URINAL
Methods and systems are provided for a urine capture device, comprising a first user interface having a plurality of vent holes and a collapsible bag coupled to a second end of the first user interface, the collapsible bag configured with a superhydrophilic vane structure. The urine capture device may be optionally configured with a clip-in liquid self-propelling passage, including a second user interface and a superhydrophobic passage. The first user interface may be configured for use by male users and the second user interface may be configured for use by female users, thus making the urine capture device a unisex-enabled device.
NON-INVASIVE URINE COLLECTION DEVICE
A non-invasive urine collection device is disclosed that can be used by both male persons and female persons. For example, the urine collection device is designed such that through orientation and/or deformation, the urine collection device may be configured to seal around the human pelvic area to sanitarily and non-invasively collect urine. The collection device comprises a funnel with a drain as a first end and a receptacle opening at a second end opposite the first end, a handle on one side, and a flexible ring seal along the perimeter of the receptacle opening. The flexible ring seal, shape of the receptacle opening, and the angle of the funnel wall in relation to the receptacle opening and funnel drain is such that the collection device can be used in either a handle up or handle down orientation.
STERILISING AUTOMATIC DISPENSER OF DISPOSABLE DEVICES FOR AID OF FEMALE URINATION IN A STANDING-UP POSITION
A description is given of a sterilising automatic dispenser apt to dispense flattened disposable devices as an aid to female urination in standing position provided with a curved portion, wherein the forward movement unit is apt to make the FUD move forwards in the outlet slot by direct pushing on the indentation of the FUD or by way of contact with friction of the FUD with the forward movement unit.
Women's urinal device
A women's urinal device that allows women to urinate while standing upright to conserve water and space required by conventional toilets or commodes. The women's urinal device is adapted to be held against a woman's vaginal area to receive urine excreted from a woman, the urine then is adapted to be excreted therethrough the interior of the generally conical-shaped funnel and therethrough an aperture formed on the bottom of the generally conical-shaped funnel, where the urine is adapted to be directed into a urinal. The women's urinal device is adapted to be dispensed from a funnel dispenser that is attached to the bathroom partition adjacent to the urinal to conveniently access the women's urinal device.
