20170087008 · 2017-03-30 ·

An elongated gel band is provided. The elongated gel band is dimensioned so that a gel-filled tubing sheathed by a covering sleeve is adapted to bend around various body parts, providing cooling temperatures for 45 to 60 minutes. The covering sleeve is adapted to removably connect opposing ends thereof so as to secure the elongated gel band in a desired place. The elongated gel band can be made in various lengths to accommodate various head or neck sizes. Extra long elongated gel bands (36 to 50) will provide immediate and highly effective treatment for injuries to various body parts, especially joints.

MAINTENANCE OF REDUCED CORE MAMMALIAN BODY TEMPERATURE
20170049613 · 2017-02-23 ·

The present application relates to systems and methods for maintaining reduced core body temperature in a subject having a reduced core body temperature. Heat is applied to peripheral thermoregulatory control tissue of the subject to increase or maintain perfusion of blood in glabrous tissue of the subject. A cooling stimulus is applied to the glabrous tissue thereby maintaining a reduced core body temperature in the subject.

A neck fan is provided and is configured to be worn around a neck of a user. The neck fan includes: an outer shell, disposed away from the neck; an inner shell, connected to the outer shell and disposed near the neck, wherein the inner shell and the outer shell cooperatively define a receiving space. A plurality of air outlets are defined in the inner shell.

CENTRIFUGAL FAN, NECK FAN, AND VORTEX SHELL ASSEMBLY

A neck fan is provided and is configured to be worn around a neck of a user. The neck fan includes: a shell, defining a receiving channel; and two centrifugal fans. One of the two centrifugal fans is disposed at an end of the receiving channel, and another one of the two centrifugal fans is disposed at another end of the receiving channel. Each of the two centrifugal fans includes: a plurality of blades, configured to rotate to intake air from an outside of the centrifugal fan to generate wind; and a vortex tongue structure, including a pressurizing plate and a wind guiding plate connected to the pressurizing plate. The pressurizing plate is a curved wall arranged around ends of some of the plurality of blades, the wind guiding plate protrudes from and is extending away from an outer surface of the pressurizing plate.

PORTABLE TEMPERATURE REGULATION DEVICE

A portable temperature regulation device defining a wear space, includes a main body, a protrusion portion, and a temperature conducting member at least partly arranged on the protrusion portion. The main body has a first side and a second side. The protrusion portion extends from the first side in a direction away from the second side. In use, the protrusion portion can extend toward a collar covering the back of the user or even to the collar such that the temperature conducting member arranged on the protrusion portion can contact the human back, so as to allow the temperature conducting member to transmit cold or heat to the human back, making it possible to realize temperature regulation even for the back area covered by the collar, meeting the need for cooling or hot compress massage on the human back and improving the user experience of the user.
