Breastfeeding Therapeutic Hot/Cold Pack
The present invention is an improved therapeutic breast pack that helps enhance the breastfeeding experience. The invention provides the user with moist heat long enough to provide therapy to both breasts individually, before nursing and/or pumping. The present invention is filled with dried lavender buds in addition to the whole flaxseed. The flaxseed provides the moist heat (when warmed in microwave), and the dried lavender buds provides relaxation aromatherapy to the mother and baby. Relaxation can help the mother release milk easier, and can help the baby soothe and latch easier. The product is designed so the middle is open to protect the mother's nipple while providing therapy to her breast. Finally, the present invention has a microwavable, removable and machine washable cover. This allows for easy cleaning and usage. The cover does not need to be removed when warming the product in the microwave.
HEATING COMPRESS
An object of the present invention is to provide a heat-generating device with which a warm sensation is persistently perceived, and which can effectively exert a heating effect. In a heat-generating device that is used by being attached to skin, (1) a packaging material constituting a skin attachment surface of a housing is formed of a laminated sheet in which at least a moisture absorption layer that absorbs moisture and a moisture barrier layer that blocks penetration of moisture are laminated in this order from the adhesive layer, (2) an adhesive layer is partially provided on a surface of the moisture absorption layer, and (3) a warming agent that allows an enhanced warm sensation to be perceived in the presence of moisture is contained in at least one of the adhesive layer and the moisture absorption layer. This heat-generating device thereby has improved persistence of a perceived warm sensation, and can exert a markedly high heating effect.
Stationary Massage Device, System and Methods for Soft Tissue Strain Release
Disclosed are stationary massage device, system and methods for self-administrated or assisted soft tissue strain release (including trigger point therapy, strain-and-counterstrain therapy and neuromuscular release). The massage device comprises a body, wherein the body may include branches, each having flat surfaces, edges, ridges or corners. The surfaces, edges and ridges may be pushed along the myofilament direction of the soft tissues to produce pressing, rubbing, stretching and pulling actions on the soft tissues as stripping massages. The system can be configured to form different geometric shapes, and made of different materials of different firmness. The system can be further configured to perform unheated, or heated massages; and cooling treatments. In addition to being used alone, the system can be mounted on a piece of wall, a standing frame, furniture or a garment.
Thermotherapeutic pad for providing heat or cold to a body part
A thermotherapeutic pad for applying heat or cold to a body part. The pad has a material for releasing or absorbing heat and a thermally conductive envelope for containing the granular material. The pad also has a holder for removably holding a cold pack adjacent to the envelope. The thermotherapeutic pad may provide heat by heating the material and placing the envelope against the body part, and the thermotherapeutic pad may absorb heat by placing a cooled cold pack into the holder and placing the portion of the pad comprising the cold pack against the body part.
HEAT AND AROMATHERAPY BAG
A heat and aromatherapy bag that provides consumers with a reliable way to deliver constant, slow, dissipating heat with an infusion of essential oils. The heat and aromatherapy bag includes a repurposed sack having a front facing and an interior, a functional indicia disposed on the front facing of the repurposed sack, a plurality of rice contained within the interior of the repurposed sack and a VELCRO fastener disposed on each side of a neck opening disposed on top of the repurposed feed sack. The repurposed sack is a repurposed antique feed sack to provide an aesthetic rustic appearance and the functional indicia indicate one of several different intangible assets that someone might be interested in cultivating or possessing. The heat and aromatherapy bag also includes a method for utilizing a heat and aromatherapy bag.
TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED THERAPEUTIC PLUSH TOY ASSEMBLY
A temperature controlled therapeutic plush toy assembly is disclosed. The plush toy has a body, a thermal block contained within the body, and temperature retaining materials contained within the body. The thermal block can hold either hot or cold temperatures. The temperature of the thermal block can be modified by either placing the plush toy in the microwave or placing the plush toy in the freezer. The temperature retaining materials provide insulation to the thermal block and disperse the modified temperature of the thermal block throughout the body of the plush toy. The plush toy also has interchangeable temperature controlling garments. A heating garment is capable to heating the temperature of the body of the plush toy and a cooling garment is capable of cooling the temperature of the body of the plush toy.
Muscle and tissue therapy device
A massage therapy device having a roller and detachable thermal cover is disclosed. The roller has a series of unique ridges that optimize the application of therapeutic pressure to portions of a user's body. The thermal cover contains thermal retention material that can be heated or cooled. When the thermal cover is detachably connected to the roller, thermal therapy can be applied to muscle and other tissue in conjunction with the pressure therapy applied with the ridges of the roller. The configuration, temperature, and pressure application angle of the device can be varied to maximize the versatility of the device and provide individualized treatment.
Stretchable heated wrap system
A wrapper has an inner edge and an outer edge separated by a length. The wrapper has a first side edge and a second side edge separated by a width. The wrapper has an interior sheet and an exterior sheet. The interior sheet and the exterior sheet are fabricated from yarn with stretchable and elastic characteristics. Hook and loop fasteners couple the interior sheet adjacent to the outer edge to the exterior sheet. A plurality of pockets are formed between the interior sheet and the exterior sheet by rows of stitching between the first side edge and the second side edge. A quantity of temperature retentive material is within the pockets. Optional components include an electrical wire to facilitate heating and a container to facilitate heating and/or cooling.
Portable Electronic Moxibustion Therapy Device
Disclosed is a portable electronic moxibustion therapy device which can be conveniently carried after being charged by a user to provide the effects of conventional moxibustion treatment anywhere and anytime, and which can maximize the effects of moxibustion treatment by directly applying heat stimulation while being near but not in direct contact with an acupuncture point to be treated and simultaneously providing an indirect thermal effect continuously to the surrounding area and the area around the acupuncture point to be treated. The portable electronic moxibustion therapy device according to the present invention comprises: an upper main body including a battery and a control circuit unit provided therein, and separate the skin from the bottom end of the funnel portion.
