A method with apparatus and kit for practicing the method that provides a reliable determination of desired earlobe piercing position by giving the user a preview of an earring in the location. The user tests a variety of sized discs that mimic stud earrings on the area to be pierced to determine the most visually pleasing size relative to the area. Once the desired size is chosen, the user then positions and repositions the disc on the site until the disc is in the optimal position visually. A mark is then made on the ear through one or more holes or perforations in the disc. The disc is then removed and the ear is pierced at or where indicated by the mark.

An earring configured for insertion in an artificially-created cavity in a wearer's ear, such ear tissue cavity being bounded by a first hole in the ear tissue and a second hole opposite the first hole. The earring includes an earring post dimensioned to be inserted through at least the first hole of the ear tissue cavity. Apparatuses and systems for ornamental piercing of body parts are disclosed comprising a body piercing cartridge for use with a reusable body piercing instrument. The body piercing cartridge includes a feature for engaging a matching feature of the instrument coupled to the finger grip section of the of the instrument. The engaging feature of the jaw is disposed back from an end of the jaw such that the end of the jaw extends beyond a forward extension of the body piercing instrument to achieve an overhanging jaw. The overhanging jaw reduces the likelihood of contact by the body piercing instrument with the body which accordingly reduces the likelihood of infection. The overhanging jaw is particularly useful for making piercings without a clutch such as in a nostril.

This self-monitoring concept combines wearable sensors with computing devices to produce an output to improve daily functioning. Disclosed is a device that senses and measures the created cavity temperature (CCT) within an artificial cavity in the wearer's body. This current device provides a wearable thermometer that measures temperature for a convenient, comfortable method of continuously tracking the wearer's temperature.

The invention relates to the design of a device for forming a puncture into the body of people for jewelry. This device provides the most comfortable and naturally fast puncture for the quick insertion of jewelry worn immediately with a puncture, that is, the process of inserting an accessory by piercing and can be performed only once per piercing operation, which prevents additional injury to the puncture site when fixing the jewelry at the puncture site, as well as the replacing a reusable instrumenta taper (stretch marks).

The jaw track is parallel to the post holder track and the jaw supports a backing platform for piercing with the post as the jaw and main housing are moved together along the jaw track. The jaw includes a finger grip section disposed below and opposite the backing platform and opposite the thumb grip section of the main housing.

An earring apparatus for selectively displaying an attachment includes a base and an attachment. The attachment is selectively attachable to the base such that a periphery of the attachment aligns with a perimeter edge of the base.
