THERAPY BOOT WITH POCKETS FOR ICE PACK AND COMPRESSION BLADDER
The present invention comprises a therapy boot for treatment of the ankle or lower leg. The therapy boot comprises a hard outer shell having an open anterior portion, a base portion, a posterior portion, two oppositely disposed side portions, and a pocket with an opening provided in each of the side portions. The therapy boot also comprises an air bladder comprising two inflatable chambers, a corresponding one of the two inflatable chambers being disposed on an inside of each of the side portions. Respective gel packs are also provided which are adapted to be inserted into one of the respective openings of the pockets in between the air bladder and at least one of the lower leg or the ankle. The gel packs are pressed against at least one of the lower leg and the ankle by the corresponding inflatable chamber of the air bladder.
Twist and Lock Connector for Gel Pads
A targeted temperature management (TTM) system is disclosed that includes a TTM module configured to provide a TTM fluid and a thermal pad configured to facilitate thermal energy transfer between the TTM fluid and a patient. The system further includes a fluid delivery line (FDL) coupled with the TTM module at a proximal end. A hub at the distal end of the FDL includes a delivery hub connector coupled with the delivery conduit connector, a return hub connector couples with the return conduit connector, and a locking mechanism is selectively configurable to alternate between a release configuration and a lock configuration. When the locking mechanism is in the lock configuration, it prevents at least one of separation of the delivery conduit connector from the delivery hub connector or separation of the return conduit connector from the return hub connector.
HAND-SHAPED STRAPPED ICE PACK APPARATUS
A hand-shaped strapped ice pack apparatus for first aid and novelty includes a glove body having a dorsal side, a ventral side, and a sealed bottom side to form an inner cavity. The glove body has a wrist portion, a palm portion, and a finger portion. A gel pack is coupled within the inner cavity and has a specific heat configured to function as an ice pack or a heat pack. A pair of second hook and loop fasteners is coupled to an inside of a strap adjacent a first end and a second end. The pair of second hook and loop fasteners is selectively engageable with a plurality of first hook and loop fasteners coupled to the dorsal side of the glove body. The strap is configured to secure the glove body to a user's body.
Cooling Pad Device
The present invention relates to a cooling pad device that is comprised of a cooling filling, an internal pad, and a cover. The body of the device further preferably resembles the size and dimensions of any mattress size or shape for any age or demographic and is comprised of a flexible or semi-flexible material. The device can be attached to a fitted bed sheet by at least one fastener, and upon weight activation, emit a cold temperature from internal gel packets to reduce fever. In differing embodiments, the cover of the device may have a plurality of indicia such as but not limited to: patterns, logos, emblems, images, symbols, designs, letter, number, words, characters, animals, advertisements, brands, etc.
Heel protector and corresponding rehabilitation systems and methods for using the same
A heel protector (100) includes a leg engaging section (101) and a foot engaging section (102) intersecting at a heel receiver (103). The leg engaging section (101) and the foot engaging section (102) define a leg insertion aperture (104). The leg engaging section (101) defines at least one aperture (203) disposed in an ankle region (205) to permit a connection tube (1002) extending from an inflatable bladder (901) of a compression device (800) to pass therethrough. The heel protector (100) and compression device (800) work together as a rehabilitation system (1300).
Mouth piece for cooling of oral tissue of a user during therapeutic treatment
The invention is directed to a mouth piece for cooling of oral tissue of a patient during chemotherapy treatment. The mouth piece includes a cooling medium contained within the top element and the bottom element and able to retain a cooling environment within the mouth sufficient to reduce capillary blood flow to the patient's mouth. In one embodiment, an external chamber extends from the front of the mouth piece to house a cooling medium. The external chamber can be configured so that it is removably attached to the mouth piece. A support device can be utilized to support the external chamber during use.
Simultaneous thermal and cooling therapeutic device
A therapeutic device combines both hot and cold therapy to work simultaneously together. The therapeutic device has a first portion being made of a material capable of being heated to a first temperature and a second portion having a fastener capable of connecting to a cold pack having a second temperature. The application of both hot and cold to the site of an injury of a user stimulates blood circulation to an injured muscle with heat and reduces inflammation with cold to facilitate a faster and more efficient recovery process of the afflicted area.
HOT/COLD TEMPERATURE TREATMENT APPARATUS
Packs for providing heat or cold to a body part or parts. In some embodiments, packs comprising an outer flexible shell or skin housing or carrying a plurality of beads mixed in combination with a liquid or gel. In some embodiments, packs, which can be (or are) configured into various shapes, which contain beads in combination with a liquid or gel solution, which can be heated or cooled for application, thereafter, to a body part for providing hot or cold therapy to the body part.
Health Device
A health device provides cold compression and hot compression and comprises a device body, at least one temperature adjusting device, and a control module. The at least one temperature adjusting device comprises a thermoelectric cooling chip, a thermal conduction body and a heatsink. The thermoelectric cooling chip is electrically connected to the control module, and configured to convert electrical power into heating energy or cooling energy, and conduct the heating energy or cooling energy to the heatsink through the thermal conduction body, and the heatsink is in contact with the heat dissipation body to achieve effect of adjusting temperature.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL SKIN PATCH
A multifunctional skin patch can be used during a treatment procedure to achieve one or more safety factors, including skin cooling, pain management, laser plume control, and/or proper application of the treatment. The multifunctional skin patch includes a transparent hydrogel layer that can be applied to a patient's skin prior to application of the treatment procedure. The treatment procedure can be conducted through the transparent hydrogel layer, and the transparent hydrogel layer (with can be pre-cooled) can cool and/or control pain within the portion of the patient's skin during and/or after the treatment procedure.
