The present invention relates to organ transplant systems used to keep organs chilled and viable as they are moved between patients. More specifically, the present invention both contains the organ and holds it in position during transplant surgery. Thus, there is no need for a member of the implant surgical team to hold the organ while it is being sewn into place.

A brace may include a body portion and a finger portion. The body portion may include a first flexible sheet configured to receive at least portions of a user's wrist and hand and may restrict movement of the wrist. The finger portion may include a second flexible sheet and a rigid stabilizing member. Pivotably connected upper and lower cushions may be sized and shaped to protect chest and lower abdomen areas of a patient, respectively. The cushion structure may be held against the chest and/or abdomen areas of a patient by a combination of an adjustable and disconnectable neck strap attached to an upper portion of the upper cushion, and an adjustable length and resilient strap, such as an elastic belt binder, which may be positioned around the user's waist and the upper cushion. Pockets may be provided for positioning ice packs proximate the patient's body and for inconspicuously placing a negative-pressure wound therapy vacuum pump or other items.

An apparatus for stimulating activity awareness to engage abdominal muscles has a belt and buckle assembly designed to circumscribe a user's waist and fasten at the side. A front clutch with one or more containment members is horizontally coupled to an outside face of a vertically widened portion of the belt, facing outward. A back pouch is slidably coupled to the belt, a sealable back pouch containment member is designed to fold over the belt to be interior to an inside face of the belt, disposed against the user's lower back, and is able to contain cold/heat packs. One or more rechargeable batteries are disposed within the front clutch. A plurality of electrodes with accelerometers are disposed on an inside face of the vertically widened belt portion designed to vibrate upon detecting abdominal muscle movement, or lack of movement. A therapeutic burp cloth having at least one panel and at least one pocket. The therapeutic burp cloth is adapted to be worn by a caregiver while holding an infant. The pod includes material for delivering thermal, moisture and/or medication therapy and treatment to the eye.
