Compression Garment for Heat and Cold Therapy
20250160450 · 2025-05-22 ·

A thermal therapy compression garment for providing heat or cold therapy to the body of a user wearing the garment is provided. The garment features a garment body formed of elastic material which has a plurality of thermal storage components coupled to the body. With the garment in an as-worn position on the body of a user, heat or cold stored in the thermal storage components is communicated to the body of the user.

Reusable Thermal Contact Pad

Disclosed herein are medical systems, pads, and methods for exchanging thermal energy between a circulating fluid and a patient. Some pads are configured multiple uses on the same patient or across multiple different patients. Some pads include multiple layers of hydrogel disposed on one or both sides a fluid compartment. Removable hydrogel layers expose other hydrogel layers for subsequent uses of the pad. Removable storage liners encapsulate one or multiple hydrogel layers. Separation liners between adjacent hydrogel layers isolate the adjacent hydrogels from each other and removal of the separation liner extends the operational life a hydrogel layer. Adhesive patches secure the pads to the patient including adhesive patches extending through openings of a pad. Some pads are configured for disinfection, sterilization and/or laundering. In an embodiment, the fluid is air and a vacuum within a compartment of the pad secures the pad to the patient.

A therapy wrap that treats pain and swelling by applying compression and hot or cold therapy to the afflicted part of the body. In some implementations, the device may consist of a right-hand piece with an outer and inner surface. Additionally, the device may have a first end and a second end. The device may also include a fastening mechanism on the inner surfaces of both ends. Furthermore, the device may have a left-hand piece with an outer and inner surface. It may also have a first end and a second end, as well as a fastening mechanism located on surface of both ends. The right-and left-hand pieces may be joined together or used separately. Either piece can apply a therapy gel pack to the afflicted area.

Patient warming systems and corresponding methods

A clinical garment for patient warming including a front body panel having a first edge, an opposite second edge, an insulated sheet comprising an insulated layer positioned between an outer layer a film layer, a permeable layer adjacent to the film layer of the insulated sheet, a blanket section defined by a lower portion of the insulated sheet sealed to a lower portion of the permeable along a top edge, a bottom edge, and opposite first and second side edges of the blanket section, and at least one inlet port extending into the blanket section. The garment further includes a first back panel secured to at least a portion of the first edge of the front body panel and a second back panel secured to at least a portion of the second edge of the front body panel.
