SYSTEMS, DEVICES AND GARMENTS FOR SURFACE TEMPERATURE THERAPY OF A PATIENT
A conformable garment or device, for example, for performing heat exchange with a patient, includes one or more tubes. At least one of the one or more tubes has a lumen configured to receive fluid for flowing through the lumen of that tube to heat or cool the tube. The one or more tubes may be coupled to form a conformable fabric or material, such that the conformable fabric or material conforms to a non-planar shape. The conformable garment or device may conform to cover a particular portion of the patient's body to heat or cool the patient's body.
Cool Pack
A device having a temperature control function of a new structure to adjust the body temperature according to the weather or temperature conditions. The device may comprising a device body having an article storage portion therein and a shoulder strap suspended from the device body, the face of the wearer of the device body The backrest may be provided with a heat dissipation member that is selectively heated or cooled by the thermoelectric module, the device body a battery unit for applying power to the thermoelectric module and a body temperature control function provided with an operation unit having switches and configured to turn on or off the temperature of the thermoelectric module, or control the temperature, or switch to a cooling mode or a heating mode.
Wearable Devices, Systems, Methods and Architectures for Sensory Stimulation and Manipulation and Physiological Data Acquisition
A garment with prepositioned, definite sensory stimulating devices attached. The sensory stimulating devices include, but are not limited to, electrical stimulation, audio and physical stimulation such as localized force generation, compression, constriction, vibration, and surround sound. Predetermined and defined actuators allow the wearer to receive tissue, nerve and/or muscle stimulation and/or contraction so that the stimulation is precise as determined by its ability to conform to the scientific methodology of repeatability, reproducibility and reliability; this being due to consistency of actuator positioning in one or multiple locals on the human body. A personal surround sound can also be integrated to the garment to ensure the wearer is always in the optimal position relative to the speakers. These actuators can be force generators within the garment for the wearer to feel impact or apparatus or electrodes included in the garment to locally constrict and increase pressure to the wearer.
Heat exchange module, system and method
A heat exchange module having a heat transfer fluid channel and a heat transfer plate in heat transfer relation with fluid in the channel. The reference side of a thermoelectric cooler (TEC) is in thermal contact with the plate. A heat transfer tile is in thermal contact with a user side of the TEC. The module is configured to be operatively positionable with the tile in heat transfer relation with skin of a patient.
Apparatus and method for delivering fluids and/or gases to the lungs
An apparatus and method for providing heat exchange in the lungs of the mammal during partial liquid ventilation are provided. The apparatus and method can control delivery and removal of partial liquid ventilation to the lungs of a mammal by responding to pressure change in the lungs to minimize danger of causing barotrauma to the patient.
A BIOSENSORY GARMENT
A biosensory garment comprising removal portions to permit access to parts of a wearer's body. The portions having physiological sensors in contact with the wearer's body. A central processor adapted to receive, process and transmit sensor information to a command computer Wherein the wearer's physical condition can be monitored or recorded over a time period to facilitate medical intervention, ongoing recovery or rehabilitation.
Therapeutic Treatment Garment
The present invention relates to a unique therapeutic garment that wraps around the torso of a patient with a chest related ailment or recovering from a chest related procedure such as, without limitation, a mastectomy, lumpectomy, or the like. The therapeutic garment comprises a web, band or tube-like post-surgical wrap having two opposite ends along the length of the garment, which are secured together over the torso of the user. The therapeutic garment further comprises two pockets that are attached to, or integrally formed with, the wrap garment, such that one pocket covers the left breast of the wearer and the other pocket covers the right breast. Each of the pockets has an opening therein for receipt of a hot pack, cold pack and/or therapeutic device to combat swelling, pain and the like.
Smart Heating Pad System
A smart heating pad system is provided. The smart heating pad system includes a plurality of individual heating pads that are secured within a garment. Each heating pad includes a PCB having a USB connector, a wireless transceiver, and a microprocessor. Each heating pad includes dedicated batteries, or the heating pads are all operably connected to a single battery power supply. The microprocessor is operably connected to the temperature sensor, allowing temperature data to be transmitted to an external control device, such as a smartphone. The external control device also wirelessly adjust the temperature of the pads. The system provides the ability to independently monitor and adjust temperatures along different areas of the body depending on the type of garment in which the heating pads are secured.
LIGHT THERAPY APPARATUSES AND METHODS
Light therapy systems described herein are configured to by worn by or otherwise affixed to the user so that the user is ambulatory while receiving light therapy. In some implementations, one or more physiological sensors are used such that delivery of the light therapy is effected by physiological parameters of the user detected by the physiological sensors. Moreover, in some implementations the apparatuses described herein also deliver compression therapy in addition to the light therapy.
Thermal Therapy Garment Assembly
A thermal therapy garment assembly for includes a shirt that is wearable on a user. A plurality of pockets is each of the pockets is coupled to the shirt. A plurality of thermal packs is provided and each of the thermal packs is positionable in a respective one of the pockets. Each of the thermal packs is exposable to a heat source to apply heat therapy to strategic locations on the user's body. Each of the thermal packs is exposable to a cooling source to apply cold therapy to the strategic locations on the user's body. A plurality of straps is each coupled to the shirt. Each of the straps is tensionable along the shirt for compressing the shirt against the user's body. In this way each of the straps reduces blood circulation in the user's body for enhancing effectiveness of the heat or cold therapy.
