METHOD FOR DYNAMIC CSI FEEDBACK
Systems and methods for providing Channel State Information (CSI) feedback in a cellular communications network are disclosed. In some embodiments, a base station of a cellular communications network disables inter-subframe channel interpolation of CSI-RS estimates across subframes at the wireless device and receives one or more CSI reports from the wireless device that are generated by the wireless device with inter-subframe channel interpolation of C SI-RS estimates across subframes disabled in response to the base station disabling inter-subframe channel interpolation of CSI-RS estimates across subframes at the wireless device. In this manner, CSI feedback is improved particularly in embodiments in which the base station transmits a beamformed CSI-RS resource(s) and reuses the same CSI-RS resource(s) for different beams over time.
METHOD FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING CHANNEL STATE INFORMATION IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, AND APPARATUS THEREFOR
A method, by which a terminal transmits channel state information in a wireless communication system, comprises a step for performing one integrated CSI process, the step for performing one integrated CSI process comprising the steps of: receiving, from a base station, a first channel state information-reference signal related to a CSI-RS resource which is not pre-coded; reporting, to the base station, a first pre-coding matrix indicator derived on the basis of the first CSI-RS; receiving, from the base station, a second CSI-RS related to one CSI-RS resource of a beam-formed CSI-RS type; and reporting, to the base station, a second rank indicator/channel quality indicator/second PMI derived on the basis of the second CSI-RS.
Full dimension multiple input multiple output communication systems and methods
Apparatuses and methods are disclosed for supporting a UE in reporting of a selection of an NZP CSI-RS resource to an eNB supporting FD-MIMO communication. Each NZP CSI-RS resource is associated with a unique NZP CRI (or Beam Index) on a given serving cell. The UE may select an NZP CSI-RS resource for CSI calculation and reporting to the eNB based on processed CSI-RS signals received at an antenna of the UE from the eNB of a serving cell of the UE based on a CSI-RS resource configuration for the UE signaled from the eNB. The UE may report a CRI and a CSI of the selected NZP CSI-RS resource to the eNB of the serving cell of the UE based on a CRI reporting configuration of the UE signaled from the eNB.
TECHNIQUES AND APPARATUSES FOR DETERMINING UPLINK TRANSMISSION TIMELINES RELATED TO A CHANNEL STATE INFORMATION REFERENCE SIGNAL (CSI-RS)
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station (BS), a transmission of a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS), wherein the transmission of the CSI-RS is received at least a quantity of symbols prior to a symbol of a scheduled uplink transmission from the UE. The UE may determine an uplink transmit beam for the scheduled uplink transmission based at least in part on receiving the transmission of the CSI-RS. Numerous other aspects are provided.
METHOD FOR REPORTING CSI IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND APPARATUS THEREFOR
This specification provides a method for transmitting, by a user equipment (UE), a CSI (Channel State Information) report in a wireless communication system. More specifically, the method includes: receiving, from a base station, downlink control information (DCI) including information for triggering the CSI report; computing CSI based on the number of symbols related to a time for computing the CSI; and transmitting the CSI report to the base station, in which the number of symbols related to the time for computing the CSI is defined based on information for the number of antenna ports, information for a CSI-RS resource, information for a bandwidth granularity, and information for a CSI codebook type.
