Breakaway Silicone Ring
An apparatus and a method are provided for a breakaway silicone ring configured to reduce finger and hand injuries. The breakaway silicone ring includes a rigid core coupled with a molded silicone portion and an optional NFC chip. The rigid core comprises a series of curved segments arranged in a loop configuration. A union between each pair of adjacent segments is configured to maintain the loop configuration while allowing for separation upon application of an external force. The unions may be comprised of magnetic ends of the segments, or sockets at one end of the segments that receive protrusions at the other end of the segments. The silicone molded portion is exterior surface layer disposed around the core. The silicone molded portion may include openings that allow direct observation of portions of the core. The portions of the core can include any of smooth surfaces, molded designs, and printed logos.
VENTED RING AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A vented finger ring and its method of manufacture are provided. The vented ring includes an outer ring portion, an inner ring portion, and an anti-stretch element positioned between the outer ring portion and the inner ring portion. The inner ring portion includes lateral grooves connected to inner grooves, the connected lateral grooves and inner grooves forming at least one fluid conduit from a first side of the vented ring to a second side of the vented ring. The method includes injecting a first material into a first mold to form an outer ring portion, injecting a second material into a second mold to form an inner ring portion, and positioning an anti-stretch element between the outer ring portion and the inner ring portion. The second mold includes at least one feature on a surface thereof, the at least one feature corresponding to connected lateral grooves and inner grooves on an inner surface of the inner ring portion.
Breakable Finger Ring
A breakable finger ring made of any material comprising links that allow the invention to break apart when force is applied. The invention permits release of finger from the ring in case the ring gets caught in moving machinery or heavy object. One or more weak links are placed in various locations to allow the ring to fail gracefully. The links comprising of interlocking members encompass slots where shafts can either be molded in place or inserted. The shafts to be made of any material with lower tensile and shear strengths than the ring members.

Embodiments are disclosed of a fashion accessory, a cord for use in a fashion accessory, and a coupler for use in a fashion accessory. In one embodiment, the fashion accessory comprises a flexible cord comprising multiple nodules and a filament portion adjacent each nodule. The fashion accessory further comprises a substantially rigid coupler comprising two end portions connected by a keel portion. An embodiment of a flexible cord for use in a fashion accessory comprises at least two nodules spaced apart along the length of the cord and a filament portion adjacent each of the at least two nodules. An embodiment of a substantially rigid coupler for use in a fashion accessory comprises a first end portion comprising a first bore hole and first slot, a second end portion comprising a second bore hole and second slot, and a keel portion connecting the first and second end portions.
Accessory Lock and Locking Method Thereof
An accessory lock includes a first connection element, a second connection element and a lock device. The first connection element includes a connection portion and a retaining portion connecting with the connection portion, wherein the connection portion has a holding cavity extending in a direction perpendicular with an axial direction of the connection portion. The second connection element has at least one through hole. The lock device includes a retainer disposed in the holding cavity of the connection portion of the first connection element. At a locked state of the accessory lock, the second connection element is retained and held between the retainer and the retaining portion of the first connection element by the retainer while the first connection element passing through the through hole of the second connection element.
Jewelry device
A jewelry apparatus comprising a base member and a coupling member operably configured for attachment to the base member. The base member having a first prong and a second prong each having a first portion having a first width and a second portion having a second width smaller than the first width. The coupling member comprising a disk member having a first and second side, the first side having a first set of indicia and the second side having a second set of indicia; a first projection extending from the disk member operably configured for attachment to the first prong; and a second projection extending from the disk member operably configured for attachment to the second prong. The disk member is movably coupled to the base member and the coupling member is configured to rotate such that the indicia sets create the visual appearance of both the indicia sets.
OPENABLE FINGER RING SYSTEM
An openable finger ring system includes a ring configured to be worn around a finger of a user. The ring comprises a first-arcuate member, a second-arcuate member, a hinge, and a fastener in functional combination. The first-arcuate member and the second-arcuate member may be hingedly coupled via the hinge creating a continuous circular the ring for encircling the finger of the user when secured for use. The openable finger ring system provides a ring which accommodates removal and donning of rings on inflamed fingers.
Charm and clothing attachment device
A charm and clothing attachment device includes a main body having a hook portion, a moveable arm and a central aperture. An elongated shaft having a sharp tip along a distal end extends outward from the main body. A receiver having a cavity is removably connected to the elongated shaft. One or more charms, each having a loop portion are suspended from the hook portion of the main body.
ADJUSTABLE SHANK FOR JEWELRY
Embodiments relate to an adjustable shank adapted for resizing jewelry. A ring according to one embodiment includes a head adapted to receive a stone; a shank including a first shank arm and a second shank arm, and the first shank arm includes a first ratchet member and the second shank arm includes a second ratchet member; and a plurality of joints, including a first joint coupling the first shank arm in movable engagement with the head, and a second joint coupling the second shank arm in movable engagement with the head. In accordance with an embodiment, the first shank arm and the second shank arm remain coupled while being repositioned relative to each other to at least one of expand or contract a size of the shank.
