RING-TYPE WEARABLE DEVICE
A ring-type wearable device is disclosed. The disclosed ring-type wearable device comprises: an outer ring member; an inner ring member separably inserted into the outer ring member; a sensor unit disposed in the outer ring member; and a control unit disposed in the outer ring member so as to be electrically connected to the sensor unit, wherein the sensor unit can maintain constant sensitivity in correspondence to the thickness of the inner ring member.
Smart ring power and charging
A smart ring may be configured with a removable power source and an internal power source. The internal power source may enable continued operation of the smart ring disposed at a finger of a user, while the removable power source may be detached from the smart ring for charging or to be replaced with another charged removable power source. The removable power source may be disposed as a platform at an outer surface of a band-shaped housing of the smart ring, for example, via an adapter.
DYNAMIC FLUIDIC JEWELRY
A construct having an aesthetic form is adapted to please a wearer and to be worn by the wearer. The construct provides a structure having a wearer connection element such as a ring, a chain, a wristband, a pin, a clasp, a clip, and a body piercing element. The functional elements including a fluid reservoir in which at least two fluids are disposed, and a motion generation system are integrated on the structure, The motion generation system is functionally affixed to the structure so as to agitate the at least two fluids, causing a visual animation effect. The construct, in particular jewelry, may have incorporated therein one or more channels and/or reservoirs containing one or more fluids wherein the fluids as well as the forms and surface treatments of channels/reservoirs are selected possess physical properties so as to promote a defined interaction with the one or more fluids. The interaction influences the visual appearance of the device, such device optionally being made at least in part of precious metals, natural components such as pearls, and/or precious stones.
Breathable, expandable, and antimicrobial rings
User-wearable rings are disclosed that are expandable, antimicrobial, and/or breathable. Each ring is shaped into a toroid formed at least partly of an expandable polymer having an elastic modulus no greater than 5 gigapascals (GPa). The toroid is sized to fit snugly over a digit of a user and is configured to expand as needed. Some ring implementations include antimicrobial elements disposed within the expandable polymer. In some implementations the antimicrobial elements include ionic silver. Some ring implementations include precious materials, such as precious metals or crushed pearl, interspersed within the expandable polymer. Some ring implementations include one or more colorants having a color matching the color of one or more precious materials interspersed in the ring. Some ring implementations include grooves formed on an inner surface of the ring and allowing moisture, dirt, grime, and the like to exit from between the digit of the user and the ring.
Interchangeable ring
An interchangeable ring having a main ring which has a ring loop. The ring loop has an inner surface portion, an outer surface portion, and a through cavity formed as a space surrounded by the inner surface portion. The interchangeable ring also has an interchangeable stone setter having a spring loader operatively engaged with the main ring, a connector, and an engaging stone setter which is selectively configured between an unengaged position which the engaging stone setter detaches from the connector through the spring loader, and a locking position which the connector engages with the engaging stone setter through the spring loader.
SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS FOR A WEARABLE RING ANTENNA
Systems, devices, and methods for a wearable ring antenna are disclosed. The wearable ring antenna includes a ring body member having a circumference for placing around a user's finger, and an electronic circuit housed within the ring body member. The ring body member has a first end portion and a second end portion defining a break in the circumference for accommodating a plurality of finger sizes. The electronic circuit includes: a harvester unit capable of harvesting energy; a sensor unit for detecting hand gestures made by the user and generating signals based on the gestures; an electrical energy storage component capable of storing energy harvested by the harvester unit and providing power to the electronic circuit; and a communication interface for transmitting and receiving signals via a communication network. The ring body member provides a radio frequency (RF) antenna for the signals transmitted and received via the communication network.
RING TYPE ANTENNA MODULE AND JIG FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A ring type antenna module and a jig for manufacture for manufacturing the same, which can communicate regardless of the orientation when mounted on a ring type wearable device and can easily process the size are provided. The ring type antenna module includes a base substrate having flexibility on which a radiation pattern is formed, a terminal part formed on one end of the base substrate and connected to one end of the radiation pattern, and the other terminal part formed on the other end of the base substrate and connected to the other end of the radiation pattern; and the size of the ring type antenna module is adjusted by varying the coupled location between the terminal part and the other terminal part.
Self Defense Ring
The invention provides a ring for use in self-defense including a base with a band that is worn on a finger of a user, a blade fixed to the outer circumference of the band, wherein the blade protrudes from the outer circumference of the band, a base connecting mechanism joined to a portion of the blade that is fixed to the outer circumference of the band, and a ring top comprising a top connecting mechanism, and an ornamental top, wherein the top connecting mechanism is joined to a portion of the ornamental top.
Ring-shaped visual aid
The device of the current invention is a ring-shaped optical visual aid consisting of a handle that carries one or more lenses. Such lens or lenses are attached along the circumference of the ring handle. The optical axis of the lens or lenses is located in or near the geometric plane that contains the main plain of the ring. As such the lens or lenses can be placed anywhere around the ring to perform in a synergistic fashion to optimize visual utility. When only one lens is placed on the ring, the shape of such ring can also be manipulated to allow for optimal use through alterations to structural details of that ring. Unlike most existing visual aids, the ring-shaped handle described in the current invention can be conveniently worn on a finger indefinitely.
Jewel with wireless communication device
A jewel includes a main body and at least one wireless communication device accommodated within a cavity formed in the main body. The at least one communication device is arranged slanting with respect to a bottom wall of the cavity, partly accommodated in an undercut region of the cavity and spaced from the bottom wall and from walls at opposed ends of the cavity, whereby propagation of the signal in the space between the at least one communication device and the walls of the cavity is allowed.
